Ease into the laid-back Florida life style from the comfort and convenience of this country Deland home. Start the day off with coffee on the front or back porch and enjoy the peace and quiet on the dead end country road. This hidden gem is located just minutes from downtown Deland but feels like you are in staying in the country. Exploring all downtown has to offer from it's many restaurants and shops, or making a splash at DeLeon springs state park and eating at their world famous old sugar mill pancake house! Take a short drive to visit Blue Springs state park and view all the manatees. If you're looking for more sun and fun, drive to the coast for a day on Daytona beach and visit the world famous Daytona international speedway along the way! Then return to the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home to cook dinner in the full kitchen then cozy up for a relaxing night. Or, enjoy a night in the back yard by the remodeled fire pit under the outdoor lights.

Covered front porch with seating. Plenty of room in the yard for a trailer if towing motorcycles for bike week or a boat and trailer for exploring disappearing island or the silver glenn state park!

Quiet and private

We enjoyed our stay, as it was centrally located for riding motorcycles in the area. It was quiet and private.The road coming in was sandy, which wasn't the best on a motorcycle, especially when it rained and would get slippery in the thick areas.

Beautiful home just on the edge of town

Came for the Daytona 500 weekend and was a great value instead of continuing our stay in Daytona Beach. Home was very clean and had spacious rooms. Very quiet neighborhood. Had almost everything you could possibly need. Close to the blue springs and DeLeon State parks, and numerous great restaurants. Would definitely stay again if returning to the central Florida area.

Holiday visit with family

The house is charming and comfortable, and was an ideal location to get around Deland. We were amazed at how well stocked the house was with food, supplies, and other necessities. We will return here for sure.

Love the Country

First drive up the dirt road we were in the "country"! Just 8 minutes from downtown Deland. It is a very clean and tidy house - everything there we needed, and the Wynn Dixie only 1 mile away to get our supplies. We were there for Stetson Homecoming, so spent most of the time away, but enjoyed looking outside with the curtains open. If we had another day we would have used the firepit to sit around. We would recommend this house to anyone.who is looking for a quiet place to stay and get away from the hotel scene. If we return next year this woud be on our list if there is only 1 other couple.
