This charming 2 bedroom (4 beds), 2 bath, updated 1940s cottage is in the heart of the Deland, Florida Historic District. Sip your morning coffee in this quiet setting while rocking on the front porch. We’re just a few minutes from beautiful downtown Deland, awarded the “Best Small Town in Florida,” with its unique shops and antique stores. Eat at local restaurants and cafes with outdoor seating Our cottage is only 2 blocks from Stetson University.
All American Rowing Camp for Sculling on the St. John's River start Dec 30-Jan 03 and each week through February 2024

We had great time; it looked like the designer just left. There was a room for all activities, including a study. Property had everything you could want. Heating and cooling worked just fine. Renee was so sweet and came over to meet us. If we come back to Florida we will stay with her for sure!

Very clean. Love rocking chairs on porch. Had everything essential. While not required only thing additional I could suggest is cutting board and paring knife. Everything was great. Renee very responsive.

The Blue Moon Cottage is clean and cozy. You are steps from downtown or Stetson University. No reason to hesitate if you are thinking of renting the place. Plus, Renee is a wonderful host who has thought of everything you might need.

Very comfortable and clean! Our host was readily available for questions if we needed anything. There were even waters and snacks provided! Will definitely stay there the next time we visit.

The cottage was very clean and cozy. The host provided some snacks and bottled waters for us, which I thought was super nice. I will definitely stay there again when visiting Deland Fl.

Great attentive host made the stay and process even better. Very quiet street. Rode our bikes all around campus and downtown. Lots of good restaurants and bars downtown. Renee left snacks and bottled water for a nice welcome.

Quaint, charming, SAFE, adorable property. Renee is the PERFECT host, even having decorated for my birthday! Everything you need is right there. And so close to Stetson University and the historic district. Perfect place!

Perfect Deland stay

Clean and roomy. Renee provided every possible amenity. The house and furnishings were very charming. We highly recommend staying there and we hope to do so again.

Best Host!!

Such a wonderful stay, Renee was very accommodating and we loved all the personal touches. She is very easy to reach and goes above and beyond. The house is wonderful! Very clean, looks just like the pictures. Great bed, wonderful AC and hot showers! The neighbors are super friendly and we loved walking our fur babies around the neighborhood. We couldn’t ask for more. Even our fur babies loved it! Close to everything you need. Again thank you Renee for being such a wonderful host, we can’t wait to return!!

A lovely little cottage

This is a charming cottage in a quiet part of DeLand, close to Stetson and a 15 minute walk to the “downtown” part of DeLand with restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our short stay.

Cute-Clean-Just Perfect!

I recently stayed here with a girlfriend as we had an event to attend at a nearby state park. This cottage has absolutely everything we needed from the kitchen to the laundry to the linens and even a couple things we had forgotten like Q-tips and Band-Aids! There were even camp chairs and a cooler! Renee was a wonderful host and even provided a vegetable steamer when I inquired if there happened to be one available or I could bring my own if needed
 If I ever need to travel to this area again and I hope I do, this is the place I will book again!

This charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath 1940s cottage has been totally renovated and updated to provide you with a relaxing vacation for you and your family. We kept the beautiful hardwood floors that are original to the home. It's a quiet neighborhood and only blocks away from downtown Deland and Stetson University.
We have tried to provide you with everything you'll need to feel comfortable and at home here. If you need anything, please call your host, Renee.
