Kick off your flip flops and enjoy the ocean views right from the living room, dining room or the large back deck. Nana's Cabana is located OCEANFRONT on 1st Street in BEAUTIFUL Ocean Isle Beach! Perfect for a group of families to all feel as though they have their own space. All bedrooms also have a private inland facing balcony. After a long day enjoying the beach you can rinse off in the outdoor shower then enjoy dinner on the covered deck or watching the waves go by in the dining room. Ocean Isle Beach is the perfect getaway for people of all ages. During high season there are FREE Friday Night Concerts at the Town Center Park. OIB also has mini golf, an arcade, wine slushies and so much more for all to enjoy.

Had a great stay at Nanas
plenty of space for everyone. Loved the deck overlooking the ocean and private walkway. Teens loved the loft area to hang out. Would definitely return!!!

Great location. The back porch/deck was my favorite part of the house. There was plenty of room for the 5-6 of us. I learned OIB only allows for umbrellas or shibumi shades. The house has a few beach chairs so be sure to bring some or rent them.

Perfect Beach Retreat

Our family had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful beach house. The breathtaking view of the ocean made every moment special, and the stylish decor added a touch of elegance and comfort. One of the best features was the abundance of parking, which made it easy for friends and family from nearby rentals to join us for a fun beach day. The house was impeccably clean, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make our stay perfect. We loved every minute and can't wait to come back again!

My family and I spent 4 nights here at the end of March 2025. We had a fabulous time! The property/location is perfect. We would absolutely stay at Nana’s Cabana again :)

Great Location for Family Vacation

We loved our stay and were very comfortable. There was plenty of amenities in the kitchen and space for everyone. Communications with the owner was very quick. Only suggestion would be to throw away some of the older rusted beach chairs and toys downstairs in the garage area. Great place for our family during spring break.

A Piece of Heaven

What a special property. The property is clean, beautifully decorated, and being right on the beach was amazing. Brandon responded quickly to every inquiry. From check in to check out everything was seamless. Great time and will definitely return.

We loved the location of this house right on the beach. Looks are deceiving - it looks small but sleeps up to 18 and we had plenty of space! We really enjoyed everything about it!

The property was old but adequate! We slept 13 very comfortably, they loved the beach, stores and being with family. The house was fully stocked, clean and comfortable for all. We had a great time!

SISTER Birthday trip

This was perfect...my sisters 70th birthday and my 60th ... we had just sister alone and time frim our crazy busy lives until wednesday and then a few of our kids and grandkids joined us to top off the week! Other than a bit of rain...and a good bit of fog, it was a great week. My kids have always called my sister "Nana" even tho shes not their grandma, shes aunt...so "nana's cabana" was perfect for her birthday! Thank you to the owners for perfect check in/out and a great place overall!

Wonderful cabana on the beach

The house was very comfortable and in a great location on the beach with its own walkway. It was great having our dog with us. We spent a lot of time on the covered porch looking at and hearing the ocean.

Hey Guys! My name is Brandon, and my wife's name is Amy. We are the McSwains! This house is very special to us. This house is Nana's Cabana in tribute to my wife's mother Nancy (who all of our kids/her grandkids) called Nancy "Nana" Nancy was a spitfire of a lady, always with a quick wit and truly hilarious "zingers" for everyone. She served as a Nurse in the United States Air force and spent her entire career and life dedicated to helping those sick, hurting and in need.

"Fancy Nancy" as I referred to her, loved her family so fiercely and without hesitation. A few years ago we found out she was diagnosed with Parkinson's. She fought the disease for years with all of us by her side, and never lost her wit or her sense of humor through it all. Her greatest joy was her kids, and her grandkids (of which there are 6 of them under 5 years old currently).

Last year Nancy (Nana) lost her battle with Parkinsons. We bought this house as a place for her kids and grandkids to grow up and old together sharing adventures to the beach, discovering new things, and spending quality time with each other. Hence the name: "Nanas Cabana"

We hope that you love this very special place as much as we do, and we can't wait to share our families magical place with you.

We truly feel blessed we found a special place in Ocean Isle Beach and are excited to share it with you!

This property is so unique! It is an older home that we will be updating as we go, but this house is right on one of the most beautiful beaches in North Carolina! Spend your evenings listening to the waves, your mornings with a cup of coffee as the sun comes up over the water.
