First time using Sunhost Resorts

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found a large amount of hair in the drain of the bathroom shower (I have pictures on my cell phone) and brought this to the attention of your front desk staff. Your front desk staff were not sure if the cleaning team was still at the condo and we requested a call from management that did not happen. In the meantime, we had cleaned the shower when the cleaning staff knocked at the door, listened to our concerns but did not apologize. They seem to be over worked. Also the shower in off bathroom did not have much pressure. It seems your past guests have really abused the property which is really sad. My first impression was not good and I have already told my family about it. I wish the review was better. The previous renters put dirty dishes back in the kitchen cabinet, while I was followed your instructions to load the dishwasher before I left and run it.

We took a girl’s beach trip and this condo was just perfect. Great location for shopping and restaurants. Great Beach experience.

Area businesses are starting to open so we wanted to come and support them after the hurricanes. Even though the pool wasn't available while we were there, we still enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful. Can't wait to stay there again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was everything we needed. It's in the perfect location. There were 2 beach chairs at the condo. We slept 6 of us quite comfortably. The condo was clean and well kept. If I could request one thing, it would to have a pizza pan in the kitchen. John's Pass is directly across from the condo which makes it easy for older kids to go hang out over at the boardwalk and get ice cream if they desire. Our favorite ice cream place is Kilwin's. Our favorite restaurant is Crabby's. At night, the adults enjoyed hanging out at Mad Beach Pub. We love Madiera Beach :)

Great location, most things within walking distance

Easy booking and payments. Short walk thru parking garage to pool and beach. The only downfalls were that the condo was very dusty when we arrived, one of the dining room chairs was wobbly, and the living room furniture is in poor condition...leather is cracked and dirty.

The master bed was very comfortable and spacious room. The master shower was so nice. The second bedroom was nice. The best we’re really noisy though for some reason but my son said it was comfortable. Great they had beach chairs to use.

Beach place vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming here for years and years and usually have a great experience, this year had some hiccups. First we booked in Madeira Norte and found out last minute that the pool would be closed for construction, we moved our reservation to beach place which was more expensive for a sub par condo but thought it wasn’t acceptable to not have a pool. When we arrived we found out the beach place condo we booked had a/c issues and we were being moved to a different condo which was nicer, which was great except our paper work never got corrected and we were give. The wrong door code and stood outside with our toddler for about an hour at 8:00 pm to get the correct code. Hoping for our usual great experience next yeR

Terrible view

Didn’t get ocean view room next to my family as requested , so my wife could watch the grandkids on beach and in pool, which was the reason for the trip. Had a beautiful view of public restrooms and drawbridge. Hope my son stays somewhere different next year.

We had a great experience staying here! The condo is in great place with lots to do! We loved being able to walk over to John’s Pass every night!

April 2018 Stay

Very nice condo! Easy beach access . Close to all the boardwalk activities!
