Fox Haven Apt #2 Upstairs 1 Bedroom Apartment

One Bedroom – One Bath Upstairs Apartment located in Tavares, FL (America’s Sea Plane City) in the heart of beautiful Lake County Florida.

Please note that there are three steps up to the first entry door. Three more steps inside the entry to reach the second entry door. Which is where you will encounter a staircase with twelve steps up to the apartment.

The apartment is an attic apartment and has partial slopping (low) ceilings, which you can see when browsing the pictures.

Established and newly furnished in 2023.

Sleeps 2 to 4 people. Bedroom has a queen size bed and the living room has a queen size sleeper sofa.

Fully Equipped Kitchen. Refrigerator, Stove/Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, Corian Countertop, Garbage Disposal, Toaster, Coffee Maker, Pots/Pans, Dishes, Glassware, Silverware and misc kitchen utinsels.

The living room has the sleeper sofa, recliner, end tables, USB charging outlets, 50” Ruko TV and assorted games.

Bathroom has a tiled shower with soap dispenser, towels, hand soap and cleaning supplies.

Bedroom has a queen size bed, closet space, side tables, alarm clock, USB charging, 43” Ruko TV and bedside lamps.

The extra space between the bedroom and kitchen contains a desk, USB charging, dresser and hall table.

We give you a starter supply of paper towels, hand soap and dish soap.

Free Wi-Fi so you can log into your favorite streaming service on the Ruko TV’s

Six blocks from the Tavares Downtown entertainment district, Wooten Park and the Sea Plane Basin.

A Short Drive to Mount Dora, which is well known for its many antique and specialty shops.

Centrally located, we’re 1 to 1-1/2 hour drive to Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, International Drive Attractions, Orlando International Airport, and the East or West Coast Beaches.

No Pets – Supervised Children Okay

This is a great apartment located close to the docks at Tavares. The only detail I would mention is the sloped ceilings (which are shown in the photos) did cause a problem for my 6 ft tall husband.

This place was perfect for us! Me and three of my kids were in town for a basketball tournament at The Big House, so we didn't have time for much of anything else around town. It was a short drive to the sports facility, with lots of food options nearby (including grocery stores). More affordable than a hotel, but SO much better. So much more space than a hotel, and a full kitchen as well. Best of all though, we found the place so cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. Clever and intentional uses of space (clearly somebody put thought into the functionality of the spaces), and multiple thoughtful touches (like beautiful fresh flowers in a vase on the kitchen table). This place was great and we'll definitely try to book again next time we're in town. :-)

This little cottage is so cozy. Even though it's a one bedroom my son and I stayed here, the pull out couch was very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. The shower has soap, shampoo and conditioner. There was tissues, paper towels and tp. It's in a great location very close to both downtown and chain store shopping. The owners live on premises, but we only waved and said hi, but it's nice to know they're right there should you need anything. I highly recommend this VRBO, it's a steal of a deal. A

Centrally located apartment offers all basic amenities

Second storey apartment is a short walk to waterfront park and restaurants on Lake Dora. Located close to all services, e.g. groceries. Apartment and kitchen is well equipped with basic appliances and entertainment for short or longer stay. Laundromat nearby. On-site hosts helpful yet unobtrusive.We enjoyed our time here.

Very comfortable! The pictures make it look smaller than it is. Most hotel rooms were taken because of an event by Phantom Airborne at Lake Dora. This VRBO was much better and a better price. It is only about 5 blocks from the lake. I will stay here again.

The property and surrounding area was squared away. It was less than 5mins away from the Classique Lanes. I would recommend this location for two individuals. It reminded me of Connecticut and Syracuse NY.
