Une chambre, un chalet de bain qui a été entiÚrement rénové en 2015. Toute nouvelle douche à l'italienne carrelée et salle de bain. Tous les nouveaux appareils dans la cuisine entiÚrement équipée, réfrigérateur pleine grandeur, comptoirs en Corian et garde-manger. Lit queen dans la chambre et un canapé-lit pleine grandeur dans le salon. We had a great experience. The place was nice and quiet. We were worried about noise from the nearby high school but we never heard anything. Highly recommend to anyone tired of the hotel stays. Renningers flea market is only 15 minutes down the road.

Quick but worth it

This was our second time coming to stay at this property and we will definitely be returning everytime we come to Florida if possible. We didn't stay for many days but it was fun and peaceful regardless. Kinda wish we stayed longer simply because of how homey it feels to stay at this property. Bill and Betty are great hosts and have everything you need for your stay.

The place is nice, clean and comfortable. The hosts have ensured we had everything needed for our stay. The property is near my parents house, so it is now our go to place when we come visit.

A Gem in the rough

This property an owners are a dream team for business or vacation. Located just blocks from downtown an lake Dora making it a great morning or evening walk or stroll. The appartment is very clean an supplied. I have stayed there twice an looking forward to my next stay in Nov.

Very Nice and Private

This was by far the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed at for the money. The location was private and safe, and the pricing was better than most local hotels. On top of that the owners let us check in early so we could rest. They answered every question we had in a timely manner. I could not recommend this place enough.

Home away from home

The cottage is adorable. Bill and Betty did an awesome renovating the cottage. The cottage is super clean. The shower is huge and well designed. My daughter and I met Betty. Betty was friendly and welcoming. Bill is friendly and quiet. I highly recommend this location for your stay. We will be back.

What a cute little place with fantastic hosts!

We came down here for my corporate Christmas party and needed somewhere close to this area to stay. Billy and Betty were excellent hosts and so friendly! We got in pretty late our first night, so I let Bill know and he was sure to leave the porch lights on for us. I felt like I was at a “home away from home” the whole time. What a cozy spot! The bed is heavenly, and the walk in shower is beautiful! We will definitely be booking here again in the future! Thank you so much Bill and Betty for a fantastic stay!!

Great location near my mom!

Very nice set up. Large outdoor screened in sun room. We did our exercises out there. Large kitchen dining living room area. With very comfortable, plush recliner, rocker and a pullout big couch to lay on and watch TV. The TV is a little small from far distance could be a little bigger. Nice little kitchen well stocked. gas stove. the lightbulbs under the microwave needs to be replaced. Bedroom: Small but comfortable queen bed. Plush pillow top. Pillows ok They have extra variety of pillows, but need extra pillowcases. Room is nice and dark for sleeping. They have central air throughout comfortable temperature. Bathroom: there is two steps up into the bathroom if that is a concern. Shower is nice and hot and fits my husband fairly well at 6 foot three. Host is very attentive we asked for a blender and they were able to provide that and request other items and they were quick to bring those in even though they didn’t have it, they try their best to supply what you need. But they give you lots of privacy. Overall, a great place. And only 5 min from my Mom’s place. Very convenient. Also very quiet neighborhood.

Second year to the renfair nearby and as always fox haven cottage is such a perfect little spot for me and my friends to relax and unwind from the full days of walking.

Perfect little hideaway

Delightful rental, wonderful owners. Great location in proximity to the lake & entertainment. Clean, plenty of amenities and extremely easy from check in to check out. Can't wait to return!

Second visit in seven years

Seven years ago my wife stayed at Fox Haven and enjoyed our stay. Since then she passed. I came back to visit my daughter for several days and remembered staying here. Booked and stayed for four days. Just as I expected, the perfect place to stay. No crowds or traffic. Nice neighborhood. Went to silver springs and the glass bottom boats. Visited the gold gypsy vanner horse farm too. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a quiet place to stay

Cozy and adorable

My wife and I, along with our two boys moved to Florida from Upstate NY in 1983 and bought this home in 1984. Besides the main house, where we now reside as empty nesters, there is one upstairs apartment and the cottage. My wife's mother and father lived in the cottage until her dad passed away and her mother moved into an ALF in 2014, which left the cottage empty. We have had the apartment completely remodeled which is now being offered as a vacation rental.

We're located on a quiet street that is walking distance to the downtown area and it's many restaurants and activities. A short drive and you're in Mount Dora, Eustis, Leesburg and The Villages. We're aprox. an hour drive to all the Orlando attractions and Daytona Beach.

The area has that small town feeling, but an easy drive to all that Central Florida has to offer.
