Centrally located in the Folly Field Beach area, Under the Sea has the indoor and outdoor amenities needed for that perfect beach vacation. This home has the rare combination of a spacious pool along with a large fenced back yard with grass for 2 or 4 legged guests. Inside, gather in the living room with the 65 inch TV and spacious screened porch. All of this is within an 11 minute walk of the beach and less than a 5 minute walk to a fun beach bar/restaurant, mini golf, arcade and bike paths.

If you are looking for a cozy beach home in a quintessential beach neighborhood, Under the Sea is a great home base for enjoying the best of Hilton Head Island. Decorated in cool coastal colors with seashell and sea creature accents, Under the Sea is gorgeous inside and out.

After parking in the driveway that holds up to 4 cars, you can unload your cars under the shade of a massive live oak tree with that distinctive South Carolina Spanish moss. It`s hard to decide if you want your first vacation photo under that tree or by the selfie-size palm tree in the beautifully landscaped front yard. Entering the home, the foyer contains some of the most essential items for your beach vacation - nine provided beach towels and an innovative full size washer and dryer combo.

The foyer leads to the spacious living room with space for you and all of your guests to relax on the leather sofa, two swivel barrel chairs and two other chairs. Plan out your activities for the day or cheer on your favorite team on the large 65 inch HDTV. A beautiful 48` mermaid on the tall wall swims toward three of the bedrooms.

Under the Sea has four cozy bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The primary bedroom (shell theme) has a king bed, TV, chest of drawers and closet. The second bedroom (octopus theme) has a queen bed, TV, chest of drawers, closet and desk. The third bedroom (sea life theme) has a queen bed, large dresser and closet. The fourth bedroom (whale theme) has a full size bed and a pull out twin trundle. One of the full bathrooms (this bathroom has doors to both the primary bedroom and the kitchen) has a subway tile walk in shower and the other (this bathroom is close to the other three bedrooms) has a tub with tile walls and a shower.

Before or after a day at the beach, the renovated kitchen has everything you need to fix delicious meals. Distinctive features of the kitchen are quartz counters, a glass backsplash (that shimmers like a mermaid tail), an island with a food grade finish concrete countertop, and a gorgeous mermaid light fixture. Feeding all of your guests is a breeze with stainless steel appliances (including a new fridge with two ice makers), pots and pans, cooking utensils and ample counter space to prep. Inside dining options include a modern white table with four ocean teal chairs and four stools at the kitchen island. There is also a table and chairs (seats four) in the screened in porch and a table with six comfy C-Spring chairs on the deck outside.

Walk through the kitchen`s double doors to a spacious screened porch. Relax on the comfortable patio seating while watching your favorite movie on the 55 inch HDTV above the electric fireplace or play a game on the square table. The screened porch allows you to enjoy the great outdoors even if it`s a rainy day.

One of the best features of Under the Sea is its beautiful large landscaped yard with a heated pool (see below for pool heat fees). The 13` x 35` newly built pool is a sports pool (for fun games like volleyball) and has a shallow tanning ledge with a bubbler for lounging or for little ones to play. The possibilities for fun in the yard are endless - from a game of corn hole, to getting holes in one on the putting green, to swinging on the platform swing over a sand box, to relaxing on the hammock, to reminiscing with loved ones on the deck at the end of the day. The yard also has a unique feature - a pool shed with a table and chairs on its deck. Although the pool shed is rustic inside, it holds the corn hole game, putters and balls, pool toys and spare propane tank for the grill, and is a great place for you to store luggage, golf clubs, a car topper or other large items during your stay.

Under the Sea also has the location and amenities that make trips to the beach easy. The home is only a half mile (about 11 minute walk) to Folly Field Beach down a scenic paved mostly shaded path. Don`t worry about bringing beach essentials on your trip since Under the Sea has you covered with beach towels, portable chairs, umbrella, beach wagon, cooler, beach toys, etc. After playing in the sand, Under the Sea`s outdoor shower (and garden hose for the dog) will rinse off the sunscreen, saltwater and sand so you can feel refreshed before going inside.

Under the Sea not only has a convenient location for getting to the beach, the home also has an ideal location for enjoying Hilton Head. Under the Sea is only a few steps away from the popular Hilton Head bike paths that take you all over the island. The home is also walking distance to several friendly restaurants, Adventure Cove mini golf and arcade, and a bus stop for a seasonal island trolley. Unlike many island homes that inconvenience you by wasting precious time in lines of cars trying to get through plantation gates, Under the Sea is only a tenth of a mile to the main William Hilton Parkway that takes you to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, golf courses, marinas for dolphin tours and Sea Pines, home of the famous Harbour Town Lighthouse and Salty Dog.

YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO RENT THIS HOME. This isn`t a late-night party spot or a crash pad as it is located in a quiet residential area and Hilton Head Island quiet hours of 10:00pm to 7:00am are enforced. Please be respectful and take care of it as if it were your own.

If you are bringing a dog(s), you must check the box in the Travelers section `I am traveling with pets`. The nonrefundable pet fee for the first dog is automatically included in your price assuming that you checked the box. If you are bringing a second dog or third dog, a nonrefundable pet fee of $25 per night ($100 max per week) per extra dog will be collected sometime between your booking date and check in date. House-trained dogs of any size are welcome, and a third dog is welcome if the three dogs are accustomed to being together and get along well. You are responsible for picking up after your dog(s), bringing towels to clean paws before entering the home and not leaving your dog(s) unattended. If additional costs are incurred for cleaning, pick-up, or damage as a result of the dog(s), you will be billed for those costs.

Under the Sea has a pool that can be heated between September and May for an additional fee of $50 per day (with a free day of heat if you stay a week) if you request the heat at least 5 days before your stay. If the outside low temperature is colder than 55 degrees, paying for pool heat is not recommended as the pool may not be able to maintain a warmer temperature.

There are 3 security cameras that record activity on (1) the driveway and front porch, (2) outside facing the screened porch door, and (3) backyard facing the pool shed. There are no cameras inside the home or facing toward the outdoor shower. There is also a noise decibel monitor (does not record audio) to monitor sound levels and their duration in the backyard during the Hilton Head quiet hours of 10PM to 7AM.
