Welcome to the Salty Dog, LLC! Sunday to Sunday weekly rentals available in season. Two night minimum for off season. Two short blocks from the 42nd Street beach you will find this beautifully updated condo that meets the high standards of active families, the work from home beach lover, amateur chefs, mixologists, beach bums and couch potatoes alike. Situated in the south end across the street from open wetlands, this unit boasts full sunset views from the front porch, a brand new/well equipped kitchen, designated work from home area, fully equipped bar with its own beverage refrigerator and an oversized garage full of everything you need to have a great vacation. The three upper bedrooms are tastefully decorated, provide ample storage space, and feature blackout shades for a peaceful night sleep. Mattresses are updated and include the popular queen sized “Purple 3” mattress in the primary bedroom. Enjoy a work from home getaway with Gig speed internet, adjustable stand up desk, and double monitors with a docking station for PC laptops in the primary suite. The lower level includes a bonus 4th walkthrough bedroom that includes a full bed as well as its own shower room. Both bathrooms were recently remodeled and the bonus shower room in the lower level is also equipped as a dog wash. Sheets and bath towels are included so bring your favorite beach towel and enjoy daily sunset views with your friends, family, and pups at Salty Dog.

The weather wasn’t great but we went to the boardwalk, visited friends, played mini golf and finally had a day on the beach. The beaches in this area are beautiful.

Cozy, well stocked home

Well located, very nice home. Cozy for our birthday mini vacation. There were many thoughtful details and the home was clean and in good repair. The faucet in the en suite bathroom was very fancy and the tub was perfect for soaking.

Perfect vaca home for our family

This home had everything we needed to enjoy our beach vacation. All of the basics were covered, but there were also little things like clean sheets and towels, hotel-style products for the bathroom, beach chairs and cart. It was perfect from start to finish. We hope to get a week next summer!

Our Time at the Salty Dog

We had a great time spending a long weekend down at Ocean City at the Salty Dog. This is a quaint and very cute property two blocks from the beach in the residential area of the town. It’s A wonderful location with everything close by that you could possibly need. When we go back to Ocean City, I would definitely stay here again. Maureen and her team opposed are also amazing and will help make your stay that much better.

Best Beach Experience

From the second we booked to check-out, the host was amazing. This house was a paragon of beach houses, it included everything we could need from cookware, to board games, to tents, a wagon, toys, and chairs for the beach! It fit 6 people and our dogs very comfortably. Such a short, easy walk to the beautiful beach, as well as being surrounded by many places to eat. The porch was a favorite hangout and it provided us with the most beautiful view of the sunset each night. Overall this was the best beach house we have ever stayed in and would definitely recommend!

Beautiful, clean and stocked!

From the beginning Maureen was great about messaging me details, including house rules and how everything worked. Codes were easy, the house was super clean, the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with necessities. The space was laid out nicely and the beds were comfy! So glad they supplied sheets too! We traveled from far, so that would have been tough to deal with. Washer and dryer and clothesline. Beach toys, chairs and umbrella. Those items made the trip so much easier. Thank you so much for a most enjoyable stay!

We stayed at the Salty Dog over Memorial Day weekend and were extremely pleased with our experience here. It was very clean and the host had provided an ample amount of amenities for our use. Check in was very simple and communication with the host was very quick and pleasant. Definitely recommend this rental!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

When we decided to purchase a beach house, the South End was the only place we looked. We love the full on view of the sunset over the bay (and not staring at other families sitting on their porches), the close proximity to both a guarded beach and the OC Dog Park and the availability of parking both in our own driveway and on our less densely populated block. We have an short, easy walk to the beach, Uncle Bill’s and Aunt Betty’s. The boardwalk is there when you want it by car, bike, trolley or jitney but you aren’t bothered by the added crowds and noise the boardwalk draws.

Best of all? We love the south end for its wide, less crowded beaches!

Salty Dig is unique among rental properties because we leave the beach house just as we use it ourselves. You’ll find our beach wagon, great beach chairs, multiple umbrellas and other beach supplies. Our kitchen is well equipped with quality appliance and cookware and ample dishes and glassware. We have a designated bar with a wide variety of beautiful glassware and bar accessories and a beverage fridge to keep the drinks and water both handy and out of the kitchen fridge. Every aspect of this unit is the standard we enjoy when we vacation in Ocean City.

The second thing that makes Salty Dog unique is that we have worked hard to identify one of the very best cleaning teams and property managers on the island. Our first vacationers of the season are treated to a unit that is meticulously cleaned, linens that are professionally laundered and a unit that is in good repair. We are proud to say that the same is true for the last family of the season.
