Hello Friends & Family ! Welcome to Otis by the beach ! Where business meats pleasure. Come enjoy all the beauties of the South Shore as the apartment is located right by the Bellport Village right in the heart of the SouthShore. We are located walking distance from the Bellport Village where you find top restaurants, great breakfast spots and much more ! Close enough to access all highways to reach the Hamptons, the North Shore or NYC but yet very private to be able to enjoy a nice walk.

Great stay

This is a very nicely equipped residence. It is simple, but perfect for sleeping and relaxing. The area was loaded with wildlife. We saw deer, turtles and a variety of birds. The Bed was extremely comfortable. Communicate was great. We will stay again when in area.

Neat and Tidy - AC needs help

Apartment was well equipped and nice over all. Access to the unit was a bit challenging and parking could have been allowed closer to the unit. The area was full of mosquitos which was a problem as were were bitten getting into and out of the unit. Had there been a breeze it might have been better. AC unit in the living room was not strong enough to cool the living room nor carry over to the kitchen. Unit in the bedroom was good but very noisy. Bathroom was tiny, one peerson at a time.

Great place...... BUT AC was awful

The two 5,000 BTU air conditioners are too small for this place. When we checked in on 6/25, it was 98 degrees outside that day. After being on the road for four-plus hours, the last thing I wanted was to open up the door to a place that was 90 degrees plus inside. The only AC that was on when we got inside was in the bedroom, and the AC was set to 70. That surely wasn't going to cool the place down. And the AC in the living room wasn't even on. It sure would have been nice if both ACs were on and the place was a little cooler. We were soaked from sweating our butts off unloading our vehicle. To make matters worse, none of us were really able to get any sleep because it was so warm all night. Don't get me wrong, the place was great, but at least upgrade to bigger AC units. Rarely do I give reviews like this.How would you feel sleeping sweet box?

This is an apartment attached to an occupied home. There is a shared interior wall to the occupied home and a separate entrance to the apartment. From the exterior photo and description of the rental, this was not made clear. I spoke to the rental manager Steven and VRBO care about my concern with this discrepancy before occupying the unit. I thought it was a free standing unit. Steven met me for check in and reviewed the security measures present with cameras and outdoor lighting. He also reviewed the interior of the unit with me on check-in. He was responsive when I reached out regarding snow removal after a storm.The space functioned well for me- the quiet residential neighborhood was nice for walking and local grocery stores and eateries were close. I heard little noise from the attached main house except for water running and occasional dog barking. The 3 dogs did bark quite aggressively, however, on a couple of occasions when they were in the backyard and I was entering the apartment. The VRBO write up for the property “ welcomes long term renters” and talks about a fully stocked kitchen for cooking and meal prep. I did find items were lacking or not in good condition. There were no pans for oven use, no toaster, can opener, bottle opener/ corkscrew, no portable vacuum for the dirt. The inside of the oven was stained and had crumbs in it and the air fryer was greasy and not clean on my arrival. All of the spices in the spice rack had expired a year ago.

Ive lived here a better part of my life, i am also a foodie and an outdoors person so i know all the spots you can want/need.

We choose our locations with specific and different needs and wants based on the theme we might look to fulfill. When we looked at Otis we wanted to create a humble, tranquil and businesslike feel that could satisfy a family or friends relaxing for vacation or a Business trip to get things accomplished. While also providing an accessible route to premier destinations we are also perfectly located in a safe & secure neighborhood.

Otis by The Beach is very unique in the fact that we are located in the heart of South Shore Long Island so when you come stay with us you will be 5 to 15 min away from beautiful beaches and also have tons or restaurants and activities for everybody to enjoy.
