The apartment wasnt near a town as advertised. There was no soap or sponge in kitchen. The plumbing seemed to be in an issue clogged sink and the toilet you had to hold down the handle to flush.

We are 10 minutes away from Patchogue, with bars, clubs and restaurants. 5 minutes from the trail station and a mile away from the bus stop. That is near to many places, which we include an address for all things around us. You gave us a low score for not having a sponge when there are other things to wash dishes, you also used up all the dish soap. If you clog the sink, then you did that. ***BEWARE RENTING TO A PERSON LIKE THIS.***

This was a very clean apartment, and the host was very responsive to our questions. The bathroom is quite small, and I would not reccomend for an elderly couple- there is no room for safety or even much manuering around. The apartment is old and quite basic, it needs some updating, but the small appliances were new. My mother was quite worried about the age of the stairs to the apartment, but to me they seemed to match the rest of the accomodation. The fridge did not keep food cold, however, AC units worked fine, and the neighborhood was quiet. For a baseball tournament weekend, it was a decent accomodation.

The pictures posted reflect the look of the apartment as well as the stairs to get to the apartment. You didn't mention the fridge to us, but the next guest did and we had a new fridge installed within an hour, so that issue has been resolved. You say, clean, new small appliances, quiet, responsive and AC was good. Your low review number does not reflect the apartment, but it does seem to reflect your personal taste and it doesn't look like you looked at our posted pictures.

Good spot for a family visit

Worked well as a base for visiting family and attractions in the area. Nice large bedrooms and sitting area. Kitchen probably too compact to do serious meal prep (which we didn't need).

Comfortable and cozy

We were here for a baseball tournament The property was clean. The size if the space was fine for two and could be for four people. Barbara was responsive and easy to work with. The apartment can benefit from some upgrades and seating for more people in the living room would be preferred.

There are pictures of the AC locations in our listing. Also you had the window open the whole time. How can you expect the place to cool down with the window open. You also had more people that stayed in the apartment than you booked, that stayed over. I suspect the person that never left the apartment was the one who left windows open.

Shower was tiny and had a shower head led light that made a noise that was annoying. It was hot in the apartment and ac in the apt did little to cool down. Parking in front was cumbersome since tree raised curb high and caused to hit the door and side of car.
