2027 dates Sept 12-Oct 12 now available. Early Booking discount applies. Charming 3 bedroom cottage only steps away from a great L. Champlain sandy beach and the popular Causeway bike path. Kid-friendly shallow water. Lake views, shady, grassy yard and handy lakeside deck added for 2026. Two double kayaks, open kitchen/great room. AC and heat. Wifi, Smart TV, DVD player. Affectionately called the "Sand Dunes," this little community is a short walk or bike ride from the Burlington bike path, Airport Park, and the Causeway. We have 4 older bikes on site, or you can rent them locally. People are friendly, and the beach is beautiful. Two separate porches are ideal for work calls. Linens included. Please advise if you will bring your own. Sorry, no pets. Contact Mary with questions.

Clean cabin, perfect for a couple or a Little family. Everything is there to cook and to have fun with games. The site is awesome with direct access to the Sandy beach. It’s a cozy cabine, perfect to relax and enjoy the lake. Thanks to Mary for Little attentions!

An ideal place for a picture perfect view of the split between New York and Vermont, that is Lake Champlain. No complaints here! However, one of the beds was a bit bouncy and a little uncomfortable considering it was a spring mattress. We also understand that there was no washer and dryer available and if there was any clothing to be washed, we'd have to shuttle over to a nearby Laundromat, which is fine considering it might not have been possible to fit a washer and dryer inside. Otherwise the experience was very enjoyable and we would definitely come back!

Excellent Stay

We loved our stay at this cozy place! Very clean and great location. Steps to the lake and we spent some time on the bike path with the bikes provided. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Just as described, we enjoyed a bit of coolness and color. Was able to get around easily. Too cold for us desert lizards to actually get in the water, but great views!

This cottage was in ideal location about midway on the Burlington Bike Path and less than a quarter mile from the trail on a quiet road. And Colchester is a much quieter area than Burlington and without the parking hassles.It was very well provisioned and very comfortable with an enclosed porch convenient for bikes, a nice sun room, well equipped kitchen, comfortable living area, an outdoor picnic table, and kayaks.We also took a couple of walks on the Lake Champlain beach just steps from the property.Both the owner and the nearby property manager were responsive and helpful.We had a wonderful time on our first trip to the Burlington area for biking and hiking. We want to return for kayaking.

We have enjoyed this cottage for many years, and it's been a fun summer getaway for our children and grandkids. We are excited to share this little treasure with other families for a few weeks at least. I think we take it for granted sometimes, and it's wonderful to experience other families' excitement about features that we also love.

The beach is usually very quiet, and our grassy yard and new deck are perfect places to enjoy lake breezes and views of the broad lake.

We have great beach access. Another plus is the second porch. We are only a half-mile from Airport Park, with its fields, playground, and extensive walking/biking trails. In the other direction is the Colchester Causeway, where either biking or walking, you experience Lake Champlain on both sides.
