Le magnifique Merritt Island Pool Home dispose d'une piscine chauffĂ©e pour un confort toute l'annĂ©e. Cette maison peut accueillir 8 personnes confortablement. AprĂšs une chaude journĂ©e Ă  Cocoa Beach, sautez dans la belle piscine et rafraĂźchissez-vous vraiment. Savourez un dĂźner dans le fabuleux patio, puis piquez une tĂȘte relaxante dans le spa. À seulement 1 mile Ă  l'ouest sur le pont SR520, vous trouverez le petit village pittoresque du vieux Cocoa, oĂč vous trouverez un bon mĂ©lange de restaurants, bars et cafĂ©s. Vous pouvez Ă©galement profiter de toutes les attractions qu'Orlando a Ă  offrir - Ă  seulement 45 minutes Ă  l'ouest sur SR528. Ou vous voudrez peut-ĂȘtre rester local - prenez un court trajet de 10 minutes jusqu'Ă  Cocoa Beach pour visiter le cĂ©lĂšbre Ron Jon Surf Shop, ou passez la journĂ©e au Pier en Ă©coutant de la musique Reggae. Ou mĂȘme dĂ©couvrez la vie nocturne fabuleuse dans les nombreux grands bars et restaurants de Port Canaveral avec des spectacles. La maison se trouve sur une Ăźle (2 minutes dans les deux sens) entre la riviĂšre Banana et la riviĂšre Indian avec accĂšs aux parcs, pĂȘche, ski nautique, kayak, planche Ă  voile et de nombreuses autres activitĂ©s. Great girls weekend !!

This is our 2nd stay here. The property is clean, spacious and has an amazing pool area. The hosts are very easy to communicate with. 5 stars from all of us!!

Easy trip

Check in check out we’re easy. Couple item to comment on. Landscaping needs some attention. Bush at front door is growing into entrance. TV situation is awkward. You need to transfer your streaming services to their Roku boxes to get something worth watching. Maybe provide a service with at least local stations. Lighting was unusual as well, switches were all blocked off in bedrooms, master bedroom had a motion light that came on in the middle of the night. Ended up unplugging. Pool is nice and appears to be recently redone inside. However the walls and seams need to be cleaned. The are black with growth. Walls are probably due for painting. Being a full time Florida resident I know that the outside items I have listed can happen quickly. Overall this location worked for us. But will likely look for different accommodations in the future. Thanks for allowing us to use your home.

Location to everything!

This little gem was located in a quiet neighborhood. Close to restaurants, cocoa beach, shopping and golf courses. The covered patio was perfect on the hot sunny days and the pool was refreshing and supplied with many pool floats & toys. The hosts were always prompt in responding whenever I had a question. When my family comes back down for a visit, I will definitely be booking another stay.

Great experience in a quiet neighborhood

My wife and I agree this was one of our favorite vacations. The house was nestled back in a quiet neighborhood which allowed us to relax and unwind from hectic jobs. We have family in the area but were able to use the mornings to sunbathe and swim in the pool. The house was fantastic and we'd happily stay there again.

Spring Break

This house is exceptional!! My family of five enjoyed every moment. The hosts were responsive and the amenities are top tier. Getting to the beaches was a breeze and my kids found many places to fish, one of which was super close to the house. The pool was the highlight for sure. Super clean and easy check in/check out process. You will not be disappointed in this property.

Wonderful Stay!

This house was wonderful. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. And I can’t say enough about the heated pool, it provided so much fun and relaxation, it was perfect! The house is clean and was perfect for our family. We sat outside on the enclosed patio every morning and every evening! This area has everything you will need to enjoy your stay, and Cocoa Beach was so close and easy to get to! We were here for a softball tournament at the Space Coast complex and this was the perfect location! It was a short drive to Port Canaveral to see a rocket launch while we were here, amazing! Tony was so helpful with all of our questions about the area and about the pool and the house. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.!

Great pool home near the beach!

We had a great stay at this great pool house! The screened in pool and patio area were a hit for early morning breakfasts. The kids absolutely adored playing in the pool, and the beds were comfy for a good night sleep after long days at the beach and in theme parks. Appliances worked great and the host is super responsive for all inquiries. I definetely recommend this property for a nice familly vacation!

Great vacation home!

We had such a great time in this home. It was large and spacious. It was a perfect location, nearby to every need. Tony & Marcia supplied all of our amenities and were easy to communicate with throughout the process. Our FAVORITE part was the outdoor facilities. What an amazing pool...large and super clean! It was beautiful and my 3 grandchildren loved it so much. The outside table and chairs were perfect for a long vacation stay. Thank you so much for the joy spent there.

Nice place to stay for a family visit

We enjoyed our recent stay with our daughter and grandchildren. The house was clean, the kids enjoyed the pool and it was close to everything in the Cocoa beach/Merritt Island area. We had an issue one morning with the hot water, but the host was very responsive and it was fixed by noon. Since we had small children we had to be extra watchful around glass tables and fragile decorations. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Pool House in Central Location

We rented this comfy house with good sized pool for 30 days in April/May 2024. Perfect for our needs. We watched several rocket launches from the driveway. Really awesome to see. Nice centralized location. Close to everything. Restaurants, shopping, Cocoa Beach, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Canaveral, Kennedy Space Center, Go Karts & Arcade, and Fan Boat tours. The Brevard Zoo is about 30 minutes away. Orlando is about 45 minutes away. King Bed is firm. I found it very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Pool was clean. AC ran cool. Showers had plenty of hot water, and good water pressure. TV’s use ROKU and apps which was fine by us. Washer & dryer worked great. Neighborhood was very quiet. Cocoa Beach is about 10 minutes away. Lori Wilson Park and Cherie Downs Park have free parking, rest rooms, and lifeguards. Don’t miss Peacock Beach. There are live peacocks wandering in the neighborhood you drive through to get to the free parking lot. No restrooms or lifeguard here though. We highly recommend this quiet pool house. Great location to see all this area of Florida has to offer. We would rent this house again if we return to the area.

Good property, but some real issues


We stay in a lot of rental properties. I always have great experiences but this one had a few key issues. It’s hard for me to write a review like this, but it really was a lot of problems especially for how much the rental cost. The first big problem was that the home had no hot water. Our family had to endure cold showers on day 1. The problem was reported, and we were told we had to mess with the shower handles to get it to work right. Day 2 we tried what she said, and still we all ended up suffering through cold showers. I reported this again and that night she sent her handy man out to look at it. He got the water heater to work, but explained it was not truly fixed. So on our final day in the property we got to take a hot shower. This was an incredibly unpleasant part of our vacation and it’s frustrating that our concerns were not taken seriously when first reported. Issue #2 is that the kitchen is not properly stocked for cooking. No oils, no cooking sprays, very few seasonings. Issue #3 is the showers are not stocked with soap or shampoos, so we had to go back out and purchase that for just the 3 days we were there. Issue #4 is the hot tub is as cold as the pool and the jets don’t work. Big disappointment. Issue #5 is for some reason the bedroom lights are wired to the hall bathroom switch so when somebody goes to the bathroom in the night, everybody gets woken up. Resolve these issues and it could be a pretty nice place to stay.
