This 2 bedroom/1 bathroom unit is great for a small group with one vehicle. It features a private beach access that is shared only with neighbors on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.
Near Virginia Beach, downtown Norfolk, ODU, CNU, naval bases, and directly across the bridge from Hampton, it is convenient to all major area attractions.
We've recently updated with wood floors, a new inverter HVAC unit for excellent climate control, 55" Smart TV, memory foam beds, and super fast WiFi! There is a collapsible 4-piece dining set, as this rather small unit does not have a dining room.
PLEASE NOTE: Only one vehicle may be parked in the driveway. Unit is upstairs. Pets are only allowed if quiet and fully housebroken, with payment of $100 pet fee.

We loved staying at the Cozy Frog. It was perfect landing pad for our vacation. We loved the secluded beach area. The house was beat, clean, and cozy. We would absolutely book again !

Small studio style quarters with a good main room, two bedrooms, decent bathroom and kitchen. Great amount of space for a couple and their dog for a long weekend.Location was good with multiple restaurants and breweries nearby. Getting to the parks was easy and I loved having the Bay within walking distance for the mornings and evening. Overall a pleasant stay. Would likely return when going back to the Chesapeake.

The Cozy Frog was just right for our visit, it was clean and comfortable. And a very short walk to the beach! Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay and exactly as listed. Enjoyed the easy beach access but wasn’t sure if the immediate access was part of the apartment so we went to the one closest. Good for a short stay. Biggest issue is the lack of host communication. I tried to communicate with the host before and during the visit to ask for late checkout and received no response. I even called VRBO support and they couldn’t reach the host either. I’ve never had an issue contacting a host, so I was really disappointed by the lack of communication.

Nothing fancy but clean, cozy safe and backs up to the beach. We ended up leaving a bit early due to a family emergency but we would absolutely book and stay here again!

Vrbo itself was very clean, easy access to beach. Fully equipped with kitchen gadgets, including utensils, pots and pans, silverware and coffee maker. Furnished with bath towels. Overall, a quiet, nice neighborhood.

Yes this was designed to be very affordable and is probably the best value for a private apartment on beachfront property anywhere in VA.

Clean apartment. Just not for us. Porch was very very small, surrounded by apartments, homes. Walkway to the beach was a narrow path between apartments/houses then full of weeds. Needed cleaned up. Not a relaxing get away for us.

We loved our visit! The space is small but it met our needs. We especially appreciated the beach access, made for a lovely weekend. George is a very responsive host, and we were glad that he offered equipment rentals, we took advantage of the canopy rental during our visit. If you’re a light sleeper you may want to bring along ear plugs or noise canceling headphones, as the street noise might keep you up.

The property was poorly maintained and was not cleaned when we arrived. The host did send over a cleaner as soon as we alerted them to the issue, but we couldn’t use the space until 9:45 pm. The queen bed was very firm and squeaky. It would probably work for a crash pad if you just want to be close to the beach. I was disappointed with the space - for 320 a night after fees and taxes I was unimpressed. I would have rather have stayed at a downtown hotel for about the same price.

Great for small group. The rental was as described. It was clean and had good WiFi, and AC. Loved the private beach access with very few people on the beach close by. Probably not for someone who has a hard time with stairs though. Host responded quickly to my inquiry. Enjoyed the rental and would definitely rent again.

Everything was clean, excellent supplies available. This is an older home so the street noise was louder than usual, but the a /c worked well and the beach access is amazing. Thanks for being available!
