Loved it!My little family of 4 just wanted a few days at the beach. This little place was a bargain and absolutely met our expectations for the price. Again, we were ONLY interested in sitting on the beach for 4 days. We were skeptical after we first booked because we started reading reviews about the property on other sites. Those reviews made it sound like the place was in a 3rd world country, unsafe, and that it had been taken over by squatters. Mrs. Cindy (owner) had clearly stated in her description of the property on VRBO that the amenities were down. I was concerned about the other things in the reviews so I gave her a call. She assured me however the property was safe and the room would be cool and comfortable, and the beach would be just what we were looking for. She answered every question I had and we probably chatted for 15 mins during that call. Sheâs good people and I will absolutely rent from her again. Granted, the outdoor pools and the deck are a mess, but from what I could tell they are making progress on getting it back up and running. There were no squatters, we felt completely safe and comfortable the whole time, and the room worked perfectly for us. We are not bougie people. Sure the pool deck is a wreck, but we werenât there to stare at it for 4 days. Great host, clean and cool room, awesome restaurants in walking distance, beautiful beach with lifeguard on duty, and I happily rate it a 5 for those reasons and because it exceeded my expectations.
