Welcome to Shenanigans Hideaway on Florida’s Famous Nature Coast and Manatee Capital of the World! This fabulous 1,700 sq ft waterfront retreat offers everything you need for an unforgettable getaway. With 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, the home accommodates families and groups with ease.
    Sleeping Arrangements:
    ◩    Primary bedroom with King
    ◩    Guest room with Queen
    ◩    Bunk room featuring a Full-size bottom bunk, Twin top bunk, and an additional Twin trundle
    ◩    Bonus: Inflatable Queen bed available in the living room for extra guests. Also, a portable twin.
The spacious dining area features a large 4x8 ft table that seats 8 comfortably, and there's even a high chair for the little one.
Step outside to enjoy the heated salt water "Cocktail Pool" (13x16 ft) with a 4x6 ft sundeck, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The screened lanai adds even more living space, complete with:
    ‱    Full-size refrigerator
    ‱    Big screen TV w/Redzone
    ‱    Dining table and chairs
    ‱    Gas BBQ grill — ideal for cooking up your fresh catch!
Boaters will love the 20 ft wood dock on the canal. Please note the boat lift is not included and we keep our boat stored there and reserve the right to access it. Also, be mindful of low tides, especially in the winter, to ensure boat access during low tides. Trailer parking is available with a designated 48ft driveway, and a public boat launch is just around the corner!
Explore all that the Nature Coast has to offer — from kayaking with manatees, dolphin spotting, and scalloping, to swimming in nearby crystal-clear springs or enjoying the Gulf of Mexico.

The Hosts were amazing! They go above and beyond to make your stay awesome. The home is fantastic and the decor the best we have ever seen. So homey. Amenities were spot on. We would highly recommend this home.

Definitely was one of the best places we have stayed. Location was amazing and very convenient our kids loved the pool and fishing in the canal. My wife loved how stocked the kitchen was. The host responded to any questions I had quickly and was extremely helpful. We will definitely be returning for another trip!!!!

My daughters, grandkids and I would highly recommend this amazing home! The home was comfortable for the seven of us and was nicely equipped with essentials for our stay. My grandkids enjoyed the heated pool and the large tv in the family room for movie nights. The host was also very friendly and responsive. We will be back!

Perfect place for our week long fishing trip. We enjoyed the convenience of having our boat docked out back, and relaxing afternoons in the pool. Host was very friendly and responsive to our questions. We will definitely be back!!

The property was awesome. The house layout was really nice and functional. The hosts thought of everything with the place. Everyone had a great time and we caught our scallop limit. I would say the house feels a lot bigger in person than the photos. Of your looking for a vacation rental hands down rent this house.

Honestly, this stay was amazing. All the amenities you need in such a relaxing clean space and neighborhood, right on the canal. My kids lived in the pool! My son fished off pier and caught bass, pinfish, mangrove snapper, and more. We cooked/grilled almost everyday, all the cooking items you need. Hosts were amazing with communication and attentive to any needs. Couldn’t be happier!

Shenanigans was exactly what we thought: a very well appointed home with a very nice small pool on a canal. We had a short stay to fish and scalloping. Highly recommend it.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience. The place was spotless, clean and well cared for. It has all of the amenities that you could possibly need from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable linens and thoughtful items throughout. The hosts thought of everything you could need. We had a fabulous long weekend at this beautiful home! It’s one of the nicest places we’ve rented in Crystal River and Jason was wonderful to work with! From the time of booking through the end of our stay. We had a couple of questions upon arrival and a slight issue when leaving and Jason promptly responded when texted. Pretty much anything you’d need in the kitchen was supplied if you had forgotten to bring something or didn’t have the room to. Plenty of amenities are there for you to use if you’re inclined and there’s a multitude of interesting places to visit in the vicinity. Our family especially enjoys kayaking in the King’s Bay/Three Sisters area. The Crab Plant and Crumps have great food and are dog friendly! We definitely hope to stay at this property again. Thanks so much!

This property is absolutely beautiful. The owners thought of everything to make our stay clean, easy and relaxing. It’s located really close to lots of recreational activities and great local restaurants in Crystal River. You really don’t even have to leave the house if you don’t want to, everything is there for you to have an enjoyable vacation. Swimming pool, kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles, fire pit, gas grill, boat dock, and plenty of chairs for relaxing and doing nothing. The neighborhood was very beautiful and peaceful. We definitely recommend this rental and will be returning to it and staying longer.

We booked for Memorial Weekend, and I can’t rave enough about this home. Everything was top notch! The owners Jason & Tracie are great hosts and literally thought of everything for a rental! VERY clean, fresh and new! From the home, pool, and boat dock, everything was amazing! Great communication with host! Highly recommend! Would love to leave a bad review so I can have this gem to myself haha! But definitely 10/10!

This is a 6 star stay

Last minute change in travel plans had us hoping for the best. This new property listing on VRBO has the potential to be a rebook for everyone that stays. Greatly appreciated the beautiful appointments, design, generous supplies and attention to detail. The canal dock and boat lift (we did not need to dock a boat so rules or availability did not pertain to us) are fully equipped. A resort level outdoor entertainment area is scaled to fit with plenty of elbow room. Add in the bikes, kayaks, paddle board for activities, what more could you ask for?

Relaxing Getaway

Travelled down to Crystal River for a long weekend. The house is roomy, clean, comfortable, and decorated so cute! Owners are very nice and perfectly responsive. Property is located on a canal and was happy that kayaks etc. were provided for our use. We took a relaxing kayak trip all the way to Crystal River and back. Views were pretty. Pool is the perfect size to lay on a float and relax. My husband enjoyed hanging out on the dock fishing. Other amenities like grill and fire pit, we didn’t have time to use, but would definitely come back and enjoy. Close to parks, trails, restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend this rental.

We had a great time at Shenanigans Hideaway! Our scalloping trip couldn't have been better and our stay was very comfortable. Jason stayed in touch with us from reservation to check in and check out. He was very responsive to any questions I had asked along the way. The home was lovely and very accommodating. They had everything we needed and then some....including a Keurig coffee maker. The house was very clean and the beds were comfy with lots of extra pillows and blankets. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood that really felt safe and secure. It is literally right around the corner from launching the boat. It took like 5 minutes to drive the boat from the ramp to the canal behind the house. It cost 15 to use the boat ramp. We docked our 23' center console in the canal out back. Nice dock. Perfect waterfront location with easy Gulf access. It was maybe 45 mins to the scallop grounds. It's a slow go out of the canal to the river, no wake all the way. The backyard was great for hanging out after boating all day. Plenty of places to sit and relax. The dock was nice and had a great cleaning station and sink to clean our scallops and wash our gear. The pool was perfect for cooling off right on the back porch. There was a nice grill and extra refrigerator/freezer. Perfect set up! They also provided some really nice bikes, a couple of kayaks and a paddleboard. Perfect place for a family vacation or relaxing weekend getaway. Already planning to book again next year!
