Summary:

The Lighthouse, designed to feel like your own beach resort, is a 3000 square-foot four bedroom newly renovated vacation rental home with beach house vaulted ceilings and panoramic views of the Chesapeake Bay. The home features a custom designed first floor great room complete with a full kitchen, large dining area, media AND game space. View the beach from the sliding glass doors and step out to the beach from the private deck and patio space where you will find relaxing deck swings, shuffleboard court, bay-view bar space and outdoor shower. Ample quiet nooks for reading and relaxing are provided throughout the home, including the fourth floor observation deck.



The Space:

First Floor the Gathering space

Walking into the lighthouse is like entering your own private oasis for the week. On the 1st floor, you will find the spacious great room fit out with dining tables, full kitchen a comfortable living area, all with a bay view out the sliding glass doors. Comfortable sofa seating with 65” TV and high top tables accommodate everyone. Washroom and full kitchen have beautiful quartz counters and high end finishes.



Private patio beach front play space

Step outside onto the private beach front deck and relax on the swings, or play a game of shuffleboard on the game patio. This space is created to suit every vacation need, from the bay view bar to the outdoor grill. Beach chairs are available.

After a day of sun and sand, refresh in the private outdoor shower with nearby half bath.



Second Floor -comfort for the whole family

The 2nd floor is enough to be a home all on its own. Past one of many cozy reading areas, you’ll find a table and seating for 14 with a walkout balcony. A peninsula separates seating from the second fully stocked Chef’s kitchen.

Surrounding the kitchen are the Laundry room, 4 bedrooms, and a full bath with jetted tub. Luxury linens for all bedding and towels were sampled and critiqued for luxury comfort. Full terry cloth bathrobes are available for your use in the Bay View King Bedroom.

The principal bedroom with king bed has a walkout to the 2nd story ocean view deck with hammock. Two adjacent rooms have king beds as well. The 4th bedroom has two double bunk beds, each with a full on top and a queen on the bottom.



Fourth Floor Osprey nest

The 3rd floor landing is the perfect nook for quiet reading or a work space. The 4th floor is a cozy air conditioned vista. Open the windows for fresh ocean breeze as you stare at the waves from the comfort of the couch or stargaze from the 360º balcony.

Our home is contactless seamless and easy self check in. A code will be set for you and shared 48 hours before your arrival. At Sojourn we take your happiness and comfort seriously. Property Access & Maintenance

From time to time, our homes may require preventative or emergency maintenance or during long term stays, a showing to prospective tenants. While we make every effort to avoid any interruptions to your stay, Sojourn reserves the right to access the property after providing 24 hours’ written notice. Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.



Baby Gear (Optional Add-On)

Traveling with little ones? We’re happy to offer Pack & Plays and high chairs for your convenience. These items must be reserved in advance and are available for a $25 rental fee per item.



Parking Information

Driving to your Sojourn? Please inquire with the Sojourn team to make a parking reservation to ensure your arrival is seamless and stress-free. Sojourn and the property owner are not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or injury involving your vehicle or its contents. We cannot guarantee the safety or security of any parking location and disclaim liability for any incidents. Thank you for your understanding.



Pet Policy

Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per pet per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.



Fireplace

The fireplace is a charming decorative feature, meant to add ambiance rather than be used.
