The gated community of Mariner's Cay, with its pool, dock, and tennis courts, is located on the northern banks of the Folly River. Downtown Folly Beach, where you'll find access points to the ocean, the iconic Folly Beach Pier, and a number of restaurants and shops, is three-quarters of a mile south. Downtown Charleston, which is known for its lovely architecture, storied history, and renowned restaurants, is only 11 miles north.
