Ce bungalow de plage lumineux et venteux chuchote "l'Ă©tĂ©" toute l'annĂ©e et se trouve Ă  quelques pas des plages, des magasins, des restaurants et du marchĂ© hebdomadaire de producteurs. Votre maison loin de chez vous se prĂȘte Ă  une visite relaxante et amusante, Ă  des vacances ou Ă  un long sĂ©jour dans la ville jeune et dynamique de San Diego.

Meublée avec goût, cette maison présente une touche design, une planification intelligente de l'espace, une lumiÚre abondante et offre tous les éléments de la vie cÎtiÚre classique, à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Le Garden Cottage dispose de 2 chambres et d'une salle de bains et pourra accueillir 4 personnes pour une véritable hospitalité.

Ocean Beach was a great beach town. Host went above and beyond for us. Amazing hospitality! Very clean House, made us feel at home! We loved the small town businesses all within a short walk from the Cottage. We also had a sweet neighborhood cat that visited us. Took plenty of photos but it wouldn’t let us add them because they exceeded the size limit.

A fun family spring break!!

We loved the location of Rodney’s house! We were able to so easily walk to the beach and go to great reataurants. Plus the other attractiions that interested us like the Zoo and Sea World were a quick drive away. The landscaping was all so beautiful!

Overall, we had a nice stay. The house was cute, exactly as pictured, and very clean when we arrived. The private backyard was lovely, and the gardening around the property was beautiful and clearly well maintained. The home had everything we needed for our stay and felt comfortable and well cared for. The property manager was excellent with communication and very responsive. When the water filter needed to be changed, they came by the next morning to replace it, which we really appreciated. The location is in a quiet area and about a 15-minute walk to both the ocean and the town area. One thing to know is that the unit is located behind another house, so it can be a little harder to find at first—you have to go through the gate and walk back to the unit behind the front house.Parking can be challenging since it is street parking only. If you don’t arrive at the right time, you may need to park a block or more away. This could be difficult for elderly or handicapped individuals. The house also does not have air conditioning. We visited in the “winter,” so it wasn’t an issue for us because the evenings were cool and there was a nice breeze, and there are plenty of fans in the house. The listing photos showed a fire pit in the backyard, but there was not one during our stay, I know he had stated he had to remove the grill for Insurance so I assume the pit as well. Overall, it’s a great little house to stay in—clean, charming, and with a very responsive host.

Home at the Beach!

Rodney’s sweet cottage is clean, comfortable, and has all the amenities to feel at home. We stayed 6 days while my son played baseball at Point Loma University. During our stay we enjoyed walks to the beach, cozy evenings at “home” in the back patio, naps in the hammock and breakfast on the front porch surrounded by butterflies and hummingbirds. Relaxing stay!

Very comfortable little cottage, perfect for a small family with young kids. Beautifully landscaped, the back yard was a wonderful place to relax and have some wine while kiddos napped :) Rodney rocks as a VRBO host!

Even cuter than the pictures! We loved staying in this cozy, clean and comfortable cottage in a garden setting just a short walk from amazing food, coffee shops and the beach. We visited briefly for a family wedding, but hope to come back for a longer stay!

Cozy Ocean cottage

It was everything described by others. Darling and close to beautiful ocean views and sunsets. We enjoyed coffee and quiet time in the garden in the mornings. The cottage is darling and well equipped with all we needed. We had four adult women all family and were very comfortable.

Cozy Garden Cottage

The Garden Cottage is set back in a peaceful garden teaming with hummingbirds and pollinators. We enjoyed having meals on the deck overlooking the garden and relaxing on the backyard patio. The Garden Cottage sits in the residential neighborhood of Ocean Beach (OB) - between Sunset Cliffs and the OB business district. The cottage is close enough to stay connected to the local scene (walk to the public beach, restaurants, dining and shopping) but far enough away to enjoy quite relaxation, sounds of splashing waves, and the ease of on-street parking - often right in front of the cottage.

OB is a low key beach community filled with flair and personality. Said differently, OB offers the pitch perfect throw-back groovy vibe of a vintage Southern California beach town, coupled with friendly locals, great dining, and a vibrant beach and surf scene.

The Garden Cottage sits two blocks from the coastline and secluded beaches, and is a short 5-20 min stroll to shops, restaurants, entertainment, and the public beach - offering lifeguard-supervised swimming and surfing areas, restrooms, and showers.
