The perfect getaway

The unit was within walking distance from restaurants and shops and just a short walk to the beach. The complementary bikes were perfect for site seeing around the community and near by beaches. I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Very family friendly as well.

Week at the beach

We had a wonderful visit to Rosemary Beach. The carriage house was exactly as described—cozy and comfortable. The area itself is delightful, offering plenty of opportunities for adventure. The community is walkable and enchanting, making it easy to explore. The beach cruiser bicycle was a great addition, allowing us to venture out and see the area more easily. The beach itself is breathtaking and just a short, three-minute walk away. I would highly recommend this location and the carriage house to anyone looking for a memorable stay.One thing we weren’t aware of beforehand was that the pool at the carriage house is only available to guests staying in the larger homes. This may have been an oversight on my part, but it was the only minor disappointment. However, there are several nearby pools open for use, and they were lovely.

Just a couple minute walk to the beach and about 5-8 minute walk to shops in Rosemary. The garage was the only Problem- its is super smallAnd tight. Could hardly park my atlas cross sport in there. There was no parking anywhere around on the street so we had to use the garage.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and great house! Walking distance from both the beach and downtown Rosemary. The house was in great condition and well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again. There was some construction going on at the houses nearby causing some traffic on the street and noise, but not really an issue for us. The only issue we had was that the bikes that came with the house were not super well maintained, the chain on one fell off multiple times, so I wouldn’t suggest any long bike rides. If you do want to take a longer bike ride I’d definitely recommend a third party rental. Overall great and would recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a perfect week staying at the Abaco Pearl Carriage house. The house was very clean and came stocked with laundry detergent, garbage bags, plenty of towels, dishwashing detergent, coffee, fully stocked kitchen. I forgot my steamer but there was an iron and ironing board. The carriage house was the perfect size for our family of 3. The grill is a little in the way of the stairs leading to the top, but you are able to get around it and really not a big deal for us. Located right down from the beautiful coquina pool and the boardwalk to the beach where our beach chairs were. Just a short, less than 10-minute walk to town for dining and shopping. Garage is tight, but my husband was able to back his large F-250 truck in, so that worked out ok. We will definitely return!

birthday trip

we were pleased with the location and the ease of getting around the area. the rental agency was always friendly, informative and very responsive. the carriage house was plenty room for the both of us, good size kitchen and balcony. we both felt the carriage is time for a lil TLC, for example a good power wash of the exterior, and clean the windows both inside and out. speaking of which there was water leaking from the ceiling or window in front of the kitchen sink. some of the furniture needs to be cleaned, repaired or replaced. and good cleaning of the walls and baseboards. please don't misunderstand , we liked our stay but feel the owner or agency should check the property for a little maintenance. but this would not prevent us from renting again. we know many people would enjoy their stay here in this home and Rosemary Beach.

amazing stay!

location is prime - so close to walkover A and the beach, as well as an easy walk into shops and restaurants. this was the perfect get away for our little family of 3 (2 adults, 1 infant - 10 months old).

family of four beach trip

first, i’ll say we had a great time due to the beach being so close and the pools. but there were quite a few issues that would leave us not wanting to stay here again unfortunately. our first and second day the kitchen was swarmed with ants to the point where we had to put food in the oven and microwave so that they didn’t ruin food we purchased. quite a bit did get ruined. i let management know immediately the first day and they sent someone on the second day. we found cockroaches in the full bathroom and they crawled under the baseboard (i have pictures of them). the full bath door doesn’t latch so it’s just an open door policy there. the pictures make it appear much bigger than it actually is, this has no enclosed rooms so it’s all open. i’d probably think twice if traveling with kids (we had a four year old and one year old). construction started next door at 7a daily. we also weren’t exactly aware of what a carriage house was, our mistake there. when we arrived it was hard to figure out how to actually get in until we realized we were staying in the upper portion of the garage of the main house and we had to enter the main houses gated back yard to get to it. it was awkward walking past the people staying in the main house while they were all hanging out in the back yard in their pool that we weren’t alllowed in. we had to walk past it everytime we came and went feeling like we were majorly intruding on them. just a lot of weird situations and turn offs.

The bikes were a very nice addition. The home is warm and cozy and well maintained. The grill located on the stairwell is a little awkward and challenging to navigate. It does take a minute to get used to the pool alarm but once you do it becomes second natureWe would likely return to this home

Great Place to Stay (if you aren’t traveling with little ones)

Pros: -Great location! Super close to the beach, Coquina pool, and playground. -Very responsive to maintenance issues. Both times that I reported that the Wi-Fi was out it was fixed within a couple of hours. -Everything was very clean and well-stocked when we arrived. Cons: -Balcony overlooks a construction site next door, so the view isn’t so great right now. They also seem to be working on the main house, so contractors are coming and going most of the day. -There is a grill set up on the stairs leading up to the door, so it is quite difficult to get luggage up and down (or squeeze through while carrying a toddler). -Garage layout is VERY tight. If you’re driving anything larger than a small car you will have to pull your car out of the garage each time you use the washer and dryer. Overall, it was a cute little place, but the layout was a bit inconvenient. Would be great for a couple’s vacation, but probably not ideal for a family with a small child.

Abaco Pearl Carriage House

Very nice property. Would not recommend for more than two people. Well stocked and clean. Comfortable bedding/furniture. Garage is tight. Might have to move your vehicle out to do laundry unless it’s small. Grill is on landing of stairs which was ok for grilling but difficult to get around with large luggage. It’s bright in the early mornings due to no blinds on upper bedroom windows so beware if you are not an early riser. My wife and I had a great time and would recommend for two without hesitation.

Sweet summer trip

We absolutely love coming to Rosemary! This was our first time staying in a carriage style house and it met all of our expectations. The location of this house is perfect— 3 minute walk to the beach! We loved having access to the provided bikes and rode a lot to Alys. The carriage house comes with a provided garage spot that was helpful so we did not have to find parking each day. Because this is a shared space with the main house you will pass by the pool that is for the main house guest to use. Luckily we never had any run in’s with the main house guest as they were courteous to use their front door instead of the patio gate that we used to enter in and out of. Overall this was a sweet little house that is perfect for a couple to stay in!

3 wonderful days in Rosemary Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent three nights at Abaco Pearl Carriage house in early April during spring break. My wife and I slept in the upstairs loft and our teenage daughter slept in the single window bed. Both beds were quite comfortable. The carriage house is quite spacious and functional, the kitchen is well stocked and the unit is wonderfully decorated with a great beach vibe. There were guests in the main house for 2 of the nights, but we really couldn’t hear them unless they were using the pool below our balcony. The unit is an easy 3 minute walk to the beach via overpass A. That was quite nice for a quick walk to the beach for sunset or for a bathroom break during a day on the beach (no bathrooms at the beach). The staff was very helpful in solving a few minor issues that came up during our stay. The communication and instructions were very clear. We drove from Panama City beach to Santa Rosa beach, and Rosemary Beach definitely has the most charm. I’m sure we will be back!
