GREAT Property!!

My wife and I visited with our two adult daughters and the boyfriend of one of our daughter's. The house was very spacious and the location was incredible. After a day at the beach, we enjoyed coming back to the pool. We also enjoyed spending the evening out on the portico playing games. The sunrise each morning was truly incredible. The master suite was beautiful and the pictures on VRBO are very accurate. Johann was great and we enjoyed his restaurant, Rancho del Sol. I highly recommend staying here!

Vacation With Naturist Friends

Spacious 3,000 sq ft villa with 3 good sized bedrooms / bathrooms and ample space to relax. Large very private pool area with a breathtaking view of Orient Bay. Only a short 5-minute walk to the village and multiple restaurants / shops.

Incredible views and location

Ideal location! First trip to St. Martin. We were so happy with the quick walk to the beach and wonderful restaurants close by. Quiet neighborhood and lovely property.

Breathtaking Views

The property was just as described. We enjoyed the large outdoor eating area, the outdoor couches and the pool tremendously. We sat outside every morning with our coffee and every evening with our drinks and were in awe of the amazing view. I can’t say enough about it. The beach was so close, about a 10 minute walk. Our host Johann was very responsive with all our questions. I really hope I have the opportunity to come back and stay here again. Absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Top notch Accommodation!

We were happy with just about everything at this property. The family space and the pool made us linger for hours. The kitchen was well equipped and Johann was great and welcomed us. We loved our 3 nights there and would return readily!

My Wife & I along with another couple stayed at Villa Acropole. We loved and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The home was beautiful. The scenery was beautiful. The host was very gracious and helpful! We are definitely planning a return trip.

Mosquito problem inside the villa- orient bay was nice

Could not be inside the house unless we wanted to be eaten alive by mosquitos, it was so bad we left early and got another villa. Owner was great when we spoke to him, but the insects were a real problem. I let him know about the issue and we were checking out early and he never got back with me? Not much he could do I guess. I can also say it was not an island problem no issues at our next villa. 10 min walk to the beach was nice and the food near by was great!!

Just like the photos

Communication was efficient with our pleasant manager Johann. Any minor issues were dealt with quickly. The Villa is as advertised. We were three adult couples and there was plenty of room for everyone. We had Thomas, from fabulous feasts, cater a gourmet dinner one night which was a highlight of the week. If you’re three couples, two of the three bedrooms are quite small but adequate. Short walk to restaurants in the village and of course the beach. Our fav eateries were L’Astrolabe (lobster and live music Monday & Wednesdays), Ti Palm, Maison Mere, Cerises in Grand Case. Orange Fever & Le String were perfect for lunch on the oceanEnjoy!

Exceeds expectations!

Perfect vacation spot in the heart of Orient Bay. We loved our stay here with our 2 teenage boys. The house is beautiful, open and spacious with a modern kitchen. Views are beautiful. You can walk or ride to the beach. Great pool and comfortable beds. Location is awesome with plenty of restaurants , grocery store and coffee shop within walking distance. Be sure to check out Rancho Del Sol for a great view and delicious food!

Beach Getaway

Villa Acropole was beautiful! The house looked exactly like it did online. The views were stunning & from arrival to departure we were taken care of & felt right at home. Perfect distance from the beach, restaurants & night life as it was just a 5min walk. I would definitely recommend Acropole & cannot wait to stay there again..loved the house! Johan was awesome & made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay memorable.

Fantastic Property

Our stay at Villa Acropole was amazing. The views from the villa are spectacular. We made breakfast and several dinners at the villa and found the kitchen to be well stocked to do so. It's an easy walk down to the beach but parking seemed readily available if you got to the beach before 10:00-11:00 am. I would definitely stay at Villa Acropole again the next time I'm in St. Martin.

Stay at Villa Acrapole Fabulous

Beautiful villa with outstanding views and proximity to Orient Village and Bay. The pictures don't lie - this property is stunning. Easy check in process which included a welcome drink at a local restaurant owned by the host. The host (and property owner) lives next door and was super responsive to any of our needs. He was onsite in minutes to address any questions we had and even brought us a bag of ice when the ice maker ran low. Super property with a very attentive host!

Acropole, a very special place

Beautiful property. Very special place Well maintained and clean.highly recommended. One suggestion - could have had an instruction sheet for tv use. The 3 remote controls were not easy to figure out. Also didn't know netflix was an option until our last day. Alain, the concierge was generally very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Wonderful stay

This house was everything we could have asked for and more. The view was magical, the private pool was perfect with a few pool toys for the kids, lots of beach towels, kitchen was stocked with any supplies needed, beds were very comfortable, home was very clean and beautifully furnished! We felt as though we were living a life of luxury for the week! The walk to the beach, restaurants, and small grocery store is maybe 10 minutes, easy walk downhill to get there but you will get a good work out walking uphill to get back to the house. We did not rent a car but probably should have as cab fare got to be expensive. They charge $10-$17 per person for cab fare and we had 5 people in our party. Be sure to download "WhatsApp" on your phones as this is what everyone on the island uses to communicate. Also, fyi, all of the electrical outlets are European in the home. There is one American adapter located near the front door which we all had to share but we made it work. We all had an amazing time and I would absolutely stay here again. Just beautiful!

Amazing pool house in Orient Bay

My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay in St Martin. This house was perfect for us and the views, you couldn’t beat! The location was great being right up the street from Orient Bay beach. You can walk, but we drove and parked. Always very easy to find a parking spot. My teenage kids loved all the activities offered at this beach. ( jet skiing, kite boarding, banana boat rides, trampoline in the water, tubing, and pair-sailing. And in the evening it was so nice to have all these amazing restaurants so close to the house. We ate out for almost every meal because the food was over the top delicious! We are still talking about it. We enjoyed chartering a catamaran for a full day to see the entire island. Shopping in Phillipsburge was fun for souvenirs, Grand Case was a great spot to sit at the beach for breakfast or in the evening for drinks. ( Rainbow Cafe is a must) . It was also so nice to sit and relax around the pool. You can’t go wrong with this house! If I had to find something it would be the mattresses were a bit hard for us. No dryer, but we hung everything on the lines provided and everything dried very fast. I would definitely stay here again! Lastly- The owners are super friendly and fast at getting back to you. Very easy check in/check out. We rented a car through Executive and they were excellent and a lot cheaper than others and drop off/pick up at airport. We had an awesome vacation here and will be back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with our family.

Dont Go There!

The house is very nice, not near the beach, 10 - 15 minute walk but a great ocean view. Pool is unheated but bearable. The issue - the house was broken into on our 4th day. There is an alarm, we set it, but found out from the alarm company post-robbery the battery was dead and the owner's had no clue, duh. The owners have an apartment attached to the house but they could have cared less, seems the house across the way had been robbed the preceding week, happens all the time, no big deal. Everyone in the house had their mobile phones taken, several hundred dollars in cash and even one winter coat, go figure! The French side of St Martin used to be lovely, safe, quite, great food but in their quest for the almighty euro the French side is now a cruise destination with all the crowding and crime that comes with it. There is now a guarded gate at the entrance to Orient Bay but they just sit in their little booth and let everyone come and go as they please, no real security there at all. We went to Marigot one night for dinner and parked in what was once the very lovely town square, now just a parking lot for the cruise ship traffic and we were followed by some guys in a pickup obviously with the intention of robbing us. We let them know we were aware of them and they left for easier targets. My suggestion; don't go to Marigot after dark unless you're with a crowd. Orient Bay is likewise not immune as busloads of tourists are driven right to the beach several days a week, likely as a planned cruise excursion for the day and it gets very crowded. So if you stay at this house or any other in Orient Bay don't bring any valuables or cash. Use the safe for anything with any value (unfortunately the safe won't fit winter coats or laptops). Don't take your fancy iPhone, jewelry or cash to the beach or restaurants, you will become an instant target and believe me the thieves will know where you are staying because the bars and restaurants all have "spotters". And our final suggestion unfortunately is; St Martin, don't go there!

Nice Intro to St Martin

This property is exactly as shown. Lovely amenities, nicely sized rooms. Comfortable furniture. If you prefer firm mattresses then you will love the bedding. I am more of a plush mattress person. All in all the villa is very comfortable our entire family including our dog thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Beautiful villa

We’ve stayed in this villa twice and really like it. The view is spectacular! The amenities are great, especially the pool. The owner is very accessible.
