Again, we had a fabulous time in Seabright! The Beach House is older and charming with a beach bungalo feeling but with all the amenities needed! Five stars overall!!

Summer 2025 Grandkids Trip

Our stay in this cute cottage by the beach in July 2025 was absolutely wonderful. The neighborhood was so beautiful. We were treating our four teenage grandkids to the Boardwalk and we wanted them to enjoy the beach. This was a perfect location and a wonderful house to stay at. It was roomy enough for the six of us with enough beds. We were so happy to be able to walk to the beach and the boardwalk. Available to us within walking distance was shopping, restaurants and a coffee shop. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Our grandkids pulled out the bikes immediately upon arrival. We gave them the spacious top floor so they felt like they had a little apartment to themselves! Many memories were made on this trip. We were very happy with this property and hope to return for another stay.

Wonderful family friendly beach house for 4th of July

We loved this house. We have spent the last 6 years at different rentals for 4th of July in Capitola, Aptos and Seabright. This was by far our favorite home. Great street near everything but quiet and easily accessible. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location- dark interior - not clean

Comfortable yet bare minimum amenities and not very clean. Trash (someone's old water bottle) left under TV stand, coffee machine Keurig upstairs, but no pods, very comfortable front deck arrangement with nice bright pillows, but limited seating and side areas dirty. Inside panels, dark, lighting insufficient to brighten area. Great for location, but would not recommend given comparable houses for price.
Unexpected to stay in a rental and see trash from the couch seating that does not belong to your party

Great location

This is a very walkable location. Restaurants nearby. Walked to the beach, walked to the boardwalk, walked to the lookout point. I loved sitting on the porch with the ocean view and people watching. The home was very beachy and comfortable.

Ocean Getaway

Such a comfortable cozy home with all that we needed . Just a few minute walk to the beach and with windiws open at night, you can fall asleep to the sound of the wavesMy only small issue was that there was no propane and we couid not bbq as we planned for iur kast night.Will definately come back.

Nice place great location

So close to the beach and boardwalk, no need to drive. And, just a short drive to Capitola. The body boards and outdoor shower were a hit with the kids and the deck and beach chairs were a hit with the adults. I also enjoyed listening to the waves and the sea lions. I recommend this place for a small group.

Perfect Week Getaway

We stayed here as our launching point to all things Santa Cruz for a week. We went mountain biking multiple days, and we were able to wash our bikes off with the hose in the back, as well as store our bikes in the garage. A few in our group surfed, with the house located within a few minutes drive of Pleasure Point and Steamer Lane. Myself and another friend had a GREAT TIME boogie boarding at Seabright Beach, a 3 minute walk from the house. We cooked or used the gas BBQ at the house each night for dinner, but there are so many restaurants located within walking or short driving distance as well. We loved the house, loved the neighborhood, and absolutely loved Santa Cruz!

Classic

This house was an absolute delight. The moment we walked in we felt at home, because the house is so warm and welcoming. We have stayed in Seabright a few times over the years so understand what you are signing up for with a classic cottage right on the beach in Santa Cruz. It's all about the character, coziness and curb appeal, and this had it all in spades. Location, location, location - walk everywhere. Garage is full of beach toys and house full of board games and movies. Beds and bathrooms comfortable and clean (huge for us). Highly recommend this wonderful property.

a little musty, a bit strange

The positives were the beach proximity, house size, and porch. The negatives were it was quite musty, especially the kitchen and the beds. There was also an issue with vagrants out in front of the house, parked right in front was a beat up old van we saw what looked like homeless people come and go to (drugs?) and it had a few cats in it who called out incessantly- not the property's fault but it definitely put a damper on things. The strangest thing was my adult son was looking for a cabinet to store his luggage in upstairs and inside the cabinet was a carpeted crawl space with a big gun on the floor. It did not look like a toy so we shut the cabinet and didn't touch it. We did let the manager know that they should maybe lock it up, but honestly it made us really uncomfortable. All in all would definitely not stay again.

Great Stay in Santa Cruz

My wife and I stayed for five nights in late December and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location can't be beat - steps to Seabright Beach with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, easy walk to the Boardwalk, close to downtown and the harbor with lots of shops and restaurants, yet super quiet (especially at night). The house itself is charming and comfortable. The comfy king bed upstairs, well-stocked kitchen with everything we needed, powerful shower, and a driveway for off-street parking were especially nice. We look forward to staying here again if our plans take us back to Santa Cruz.

Fun at the beach

Every year we rent a house near the beach in Seabright and this is the first house we look for. Location is perfect, just a few houses to the beach and short walk to the boardwalk. The house is great for my kids, energetic boys.

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway
