«Penny» est une maison de bain 3 lits / 2 chaleureuse dans le comté de Grand. Près de la ville de Grand Lake, cette maison rénovée offre un espace de vie à aire ouverte avec cuisine mise à jour, planchers de bois franc et des vues du lac Shadow Mountain. Le niveau inférieur a un foyer au bois, coin bar et beaucoup d'espace pour le divertissement. Overall really nice and relaxing property. We thought the beds were uncomfortable, but I know that’s a personal preference. Could use some general updating but I overall recommend staying here!

We enjoyed exploring Grand Lake from this well-stocked cabin! We were a bit surprised by the distance from the lake and lack of A/C - just sharing that here in case someone else misses those things in the description as well.

The cabin was very conveniently located near Grand Lake and well stocked with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. We didn't use the downstairs area at all, since everything we needed for our stay was on the main level, but it looked very comfortable, with a game table and bar so it would be great if we had needed to spread out. We had a rainy weekend and the living room was very cozy for hanging out and watching the rain, with ample seating, and we played cards at the large dining room table. We also loved sitting on the screened-in porch and watching the humming birds. We would definitely return again.

Great place to stay! House was comfortable, with all amenities listed, plus some. Owner was responsive, and the location is convenient. Shops and eateries are less than10 minutes in Grand Lake or less than 20 in Granby. We skied at Winter Park during our stay, and the drive was around 40 minutes. Would love to come back during summer and will definitely stay at Penny again!

Great family location!

We spent 4 days at Penny and enjoyed every minute of it! The house is the perfect location for hiking, kayaking, and exploring the local town. We have already recommended the location to several friends and family!

Quiet, peaceful, and conveniently located!

As avid hikers in Rocky Mountain National Park, we loved the convenience of the location, as well as the peaceful respite the house provided each afternoon and evening. Close to Grand Lake, we were able to shop and eat in town when we wanted, or enjoy the peaceful quiet of the back porch, looking out at Shadow Mountain Lake and the surrounding mountains. Loved our stay!

Wonderful location. We loved starting the day on the back porch watching the birds. The hummingbirds are beautiful and so entertaining. Grand Lake was a fun little town with so many dining options all at the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. The park is amazing - what a gorgeous area. Penny Lodge had all of the extras available which made our stay that much easier.

Family Weekend Getaway

Great rustic spot snuggled in the hills just a stone’s throw away from the main drag of Gand Lake. The whole family enjoyed the weekend of hiking, fishing, and splashing in the lake. Most importantly, we’d definitely stay here again. Thanks for hosting!

The Penny Bar Lodge is well stocked and has comfortable beds and furnishings. It is conveniently located close to the town of Grand Lake and the southwest entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It could use a good deep cleaning, and is in need of several minor repairs. I would not hesitate staying again.

We Loved staying here

This is a beautiful peaceful clean mountain home with views of shadow mountain lake. We loved sitting in the deck and watching all the birds going in and out of all the birdhouses in trees that were just a few feet away. All the wood inside the house was gorgeous too. 10/10

Great for a family gathering at Grand Lake

Stayed here for a week for a family gathering in the Grand Lake area. Lovely, well furnished, comfortable home with great view of Shadow Mountain Lake. Very relaxing deck to watch the birds and lake. We were there for the 4th of July and the deck was great for watching the Grand Lake fireworks. Spacious master suite, living room with huge window looking over the lake, great kitchen. Highly recommend.

Christmas Vacation

Our trip was wonderful and the children enjoyed the snow! The location was great, we were close to a cute little town, close to sledding hills and other winter activities. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was full stocked and we also added to it with a few items that we didn't use. If we come back to Grand Lake we will for sure be staying here again!!
