Casa De Emdeko offre aux propriétaires et des invités le mélange parfait de l'ambiance hawaïenne avec jardins tropicaux et les chants des nombreux oiseaux colorés appréciant les caractéristiques de l'eau dans le jardin. Profitez de notre piscine de jardin situé au milieu d'un décor tropical. Casa a aussi l'un des rares piscines en bord de mer où vous pouvez nager et profiter du soleil chaud d'Hawaï tout en regardant les baleines ou des dauphins jouent, en fonction de la saison de votre visite. Really like the area, condo is older and very dated which was ok. The biggest inconvenience was the water was turned off on the entire complex at 9 am. We were getting ready in the morning and check out was at 11 am. Made a good trip end with alot of difficulty. Property manager should've have disclosed this prior to booking.

It was so relaxing and marvelous. The only thing that could’ve been a little bit clearer was what items were going to be furnished in the condo. We overpacked!’lol the saltwater pool that sits next to the oceanfront was just amazing. I took a life-size sugar skull floaty and just floated around in our off time while visiting the Big Island. My dear friend recommended Casa de Emdeko and I went to sleep each night listening to the waves which was the exact same thing that I woke up to. The tranquil of pleasant environment was exactly what we needed.I am 61 years old but I felt 21 the entire time! Thank you so much for the experience of a lifetime!

Beautiful Salt Water Pool

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Casa De Emdeko property. We try and stay here whenever we are in Kona. This particular unit is clean and perfect for the two of us. It was towards the back middle of complex and pretty close to both pools. The saltwater pool is right next the the ocean and it never was crowded! Would stay again!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Accomodation was not very clean, we have to complete when we arrived.Bed in the master bedroom is really really bad. It was my 6th times on the island and it was the worst.

A pleasant stay

Nice property with awesome ocean view. The room is clean and everything is exactly as those showed in the listing pictures. The pull-put sofabed looks old but still firm and comfortable. The queen size bed in the bedroom is comfortable too. The bathroom can be accessed from either bedroom or kitchen/living room. The view from the lanai is awesome. The only problem is that the washer and dryer are too dirty, but there is a laundry facility in the community. So, it is not an issue. You just need have some quarters. The AC seems a must to have for our September trip. I’m glad I finally booked this one instead of another oceanfront but no AC property. In addition, the Casa De Emdeko community is quiet and nicely maintained. The residents we met there are very friendly. The elevator is not working well. The button of 3 inside the elevator cabin is not working, but the buttons outside the cabin work fine. So you have big luggage you can go up to second floor and run to third floor to push the button, instead of carrying it. The property management company is very responsible. I gave them a call for the range burner. It was close to 5pm. The lady answered the phone solved my concern, and they also checked it with me the next morning. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this rental, and highly recommend it. I would love to stay here again.

Great location and super quiet

The complex is away from the road so no noise from Alii drive. Unit is a bit dated inside but we don’t spend much time indoors anyways. Lots of towels which is always nice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our stay in 332 was very pleasant. A couple of items came up. The washer has problems starting up, but it did work the few times we needed laundry done. Also, the Emdeko Board should look at the stopped rain drain coming from the roof. A few times a lot of rushing rain water got dumped onto our third floor lanai. The unit was in good shape and nice to stay in. Knutson has served us well for seven stays in a few different Kona condos. Thank you guys!

Nice property we would return

The window coverings in the bedroom need to be fixed. They don’t cover the window in the bedroom. Can opener is worthless. Some of the dishes had food on them. Great lanai. Nice view. Management was very helpful. Comfortable place. Tight on parking but felt secure.

As expected

One of the best values in Kona. The Salt Water Pool over looking the ocean was amazing. This isnt a 5 star hotel resort but youre not paying that price. Based on listing and payment i would stay here again.

Oceanview Unit

This was our second time staying at this property location with Knutson. The Unit was very clean upon checkin. It had everything we needed for our 1 week stay. The bed was ok but a little to high off the floor. The only problems we had were that the gate access codes were changed in the middle of our stay and we were locked out of the property one evening. I tried calling knutson but there was no answer as it was late in the evening. We had to wait for someone to come out so that the gate would open. I checked the home away app to see if there were any changes but it still had the old code. I ultimately called the property emergency line and they insisted that I call Knutson to get the new code. I told them it was after hours and they ultimately were able to give me the new code. A little advanced notification would have been nice. Another issue was that there was construction on the day of our checkout which blocked off the elevator pathway. There were no signs informing of this situation. We had to carry our luggages back from the the pathway down to the stairwell and down from the third floor which was pretty difficult. Other than these issues, we had a great stay at this property.

A Basic Condo in a Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Casa de Emdeko is a great property with many pluses. While this unit is clean, it's a unit waiting for a remodel out of the 1980's. If that's not going to happen, then the large deck space would benefit from pull-down shades since it's full sun in January until midafternoon. And the deck would be more useable if the two large beach chaise chairs were swapped for two comfortable chairs. There were a few small things that could benefit from attention to detail, but overall the plus of location wins over the minus of a very basic unit, along with the fact that Knutson is a responsive and reliable property management company.

Two week January getaway

Accomendations were very clean. Could use more dish soap (3), toliet paper (2),kleenex (none), garbage bags (2) for a 2 week stay. Beautiful view AM sun, shade PM. Convenient to town. Pretty quiet in January, Didnt see any children.

A very pleasant stay

We stayed for the Ironman World Championship and the location was just perfect. We enjoyed a lot out stay. The complex has two amazing pools where we would watch the sunset. I would definitely stay again.

Great room, awesome view

The condo was great with an awesome view. Some cleanliness issues with mildew in the washing machine, and the toilet. We suggest bringing your own pillows if you need something more supportive. Everything else was clean and worked great!
