Ocean Sands Corner Unit, Beachfront, Stunning Gulf of Mexico and Sunset Views

Hi Don, Thank you for renting my property at Ocean Sands for two weeks. I am currently in Florida with my family enjoying the condo while on family visitation leave from my foreign service posting in Islamabad, Pakistan. I always strive to ensure my renters are happy and comfortable. With that being said, not all renters take the best care of vacation properties and renters have varying tastes (i.e. firm versus soft furniture). The sliding door issue has been addressed. There is a supply of lightbulbs ranging from 40 W to three-way in the utility closet to accommodate all renters lighting needs. There is also an initial supply of laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dishwashing pods, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, sunscreen, toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies (including a new vacuum cleaner and floor steamer). All new pots, pans and ovenware, dishes and glassware, bed linens, blankets and comforters, dish towels and hot pads, and towel sets have been supplied. There are 24 electrical sockets inside the condo and two electrical sockets on the oversized balcony with each socket containing two plugs, which is standard in every Ocean Sands condo. There are two toasters in the condo, one toaster oven and one thick sliced bread toaster, both of which are in working order. Other appliances supplied are a blender, coffee maker, crockpot, along with the standard provisions of a microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, and clothes washer and dryer. There are two televisions, one in the living room and one in the master bedroom, along with recently updated decor. Most renters are presently surprised by the breathtaking view from the large oversized balcony, which includes lounge furniture and a supply of beach accessories. I hope you took the time while you were here to enjoy the amenities offered by the ocean front condo complex. I look forward to hosting you again in beautiful sunny Madeira Beach.

As I discussed with you over the phone, I came into the condo after the cleaning was completed following your departure and found that you were absolutely correct. They were not doing a satisfactory job. They were immediately replaced. I have communicated with new tenants as they arrive to ensure that the new cleaners are doing a thorough job and have been assured that they are. Regarding the maintenance issues, as we discussed, there were delays due to the covid pandemic that were out of my control. All of the maintenance issues were addressed as quickly as covid allowed. I spent several months updating things at the end of 2020 and all new windows and sliding doors were ordered in November 2020, but due to covid related manufacturing delays were placed in the queue for installation during the first week of July 2021. That installation has been completed. I hope you decide to stay with us again in the future.

The cleaners/repairmen are private contractors and not responsible for communicating tenant requested repairs to me and they did not relay your conversation. I would have been happy to address your queries directly had you contacted me. I would have informed you that all the windows and sliding doors were being replaced in the first week of July 2021. The order was placed in November 2020. With many manufacturing companies experiencing covid related delays the installation was in the queue. That installation has now been completed, so all the windows and doors are new. I have spoken with the new cleaners and reminded them to clean the sink and shower drains going forward. There are two televisions in the condo, one in the living area and one in the master bedroom. I will consider your recommendation of a third television in the spare bedroom.
