Overall the stay worked for what we needed. We were out site seeing so mainly just slept there. The condo was not very clean. There was food splattered on the walls, the bathrooms had hair in the showers. The pull out couch had food crumbs and odd colored stains on the sheets(we didn't use it because of this). The pool and hot tub and so many bugs it didn't look like it had been cleaned in weeks, if we travel to Gatlinburg again we would not stay there.

Our goal is to provide excellent customer service. If the staff had been notified, we would have been happy to send the cleaning and maintenance staff immediately to rectify the concerns. We do have time stamped photos that the unit was thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. Our team would have been glad to accommodate you and respond in a very timely manner. Our customer service contact number is posted inside the property… usually on the refrigerator. in our check-in email it is requested that you contact us immediately upon arrival if there is a problem. We sincerely apologize if there were any improprieties, but we hope you will visit the area again.

This property worked for our family; the space itself is nice and the en suite bathrooms were a huge plus. The property has been updated but the entry area is odd (a little sketchy). There were some gaps in the cleaning and maintenance but nothing that was a huge issue. Location is great and the price was fair for the space; we would have no issues going back here in the future.

The property was clean and within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. It was quiet. They gave us the wrong codes to the laundry room, thought it came with washer and dryer in the room, didn't. Need to leave instructions on how to operate the TVs. All in all it was a nice stay.

We had a great time, but the management was terrible to deal with when we had is issue

Our family of 4 (kids age 9 and 13) enjoyed our trip. I was very disappointed that we didn't see any bears. If we came again, I would not stay at this property. The parking lot is so steep, the pool is gross, and the management was unhelpful. We had literally 100s of lady bugs in our rooms. We asked to get them cleaned up. They literally lied to us and said they came in, but wthin two hours they all came back., very unlikely. They offered us a refund for the last two nights if we wanted to leave. Thats how bad the bugs were. They did final clean it after we directly talked to someone at VRBO, but it was many emails and phone calls to get to that point. I spent about 2 hours emailing management and VRBO. The lady at iTrips was terribly rude and unhelpful. We just wanted the bugs taken care as they are gross (literally 100s in the ceiling and walls). The condo was nice and had plenty of room. Having the 3 bathrooms were great. But will not stay at this place again.

Overpriced and full of ladybugs

While we were unpacking, we realized that one of the bedrooms was full of ladybugs. Not a few, but infested with them. When I contacted the owner, I was told that my paperwork stated that this might be an issue; I checked every correspondence I received, nowhere did it say the unit may be full of bugs, or I wouldn't have paid the amount I paid. Maintenance came in the morning and tried to clear them out, which made things a little better, but none of us really wanted to sleep in that room so we lost a bedroom. I work in property management, if you have a bug problem, you find the entry point and seal it! The host and PM company were not very helpful, and basically said "too bad". If you want to check out right now, we'll give you a full refund. We drove 6 hours with 2 babies, so that wasn't an option on Thanksgiving. The unit wasn't really large enough for the amount of people I had booked it for, and it wasn't very clean; there were no working lights in one of the bedrooms, and no batteries in the remotes for the TV's. The pictures were a little deceiving as far as the size of the place. I had assumed it was an older property being familiar with Gatlingburg, but it was presented as having been updated, and it really wasn't. We did see bears every night which was cool, and it was a nice location, but not worth what I paid. I probably wouldn't have been as irritated with the situation had I paid a more reasonable amount, but I paid a "luxury" price.

We conducted a thorough inspection of the property before your arrival and found no cleanliness or maintenance issues. As a gesture of our commitment to guest satisfaction, we sent maintenance out on Thanksgiving to address your concerns, which is typically reserved for emergencies only. We offered you a full refund should you choose to check out, understanding the importance of your comfort, especially while traveling with young children.
