Peace, Privacy & A Hot Tub on Canandaigua Lake!
**New water system installed and high speed internet from Spectrum :)
Relax and find peace at our 5+ bedroom, 2 bath year around home on Canandaigua Lake.
You will have over 2 acres to roam, 125' of lakefront, a new Tram to take you back and forth to the Lakefront, kayaks, canoes and a power hoist for your boat!
Our nature getaway has all the comforts of home and fully updatesd mechanics including new water system, septic system, hot water tank and furnace/AC with UV air filter. Relax and know we take care of our special place!
Outdoor Living/Dining Deck-
We spend most of our time outside on the deck. It is the perfect place for you to gather with family and friends. The huge deck overlooking the water and nature features an enormous outdoor sectional, table top fireplace and dining area for 12+. The outdoor kitchen area features a grill and an outdoor food prep area. Downstairs, the patio has a sitting area and a hot tub.
Living Room/Great Room/Dining Room-
This open concept space features hardwood floors, a fireplace, seating and has AMAZING VIEWS overlooking Canandaigua Lake. The dining table expands to fit 10+ people. Two full size sleeper sofas and chairs are here for your comfort.
Kitchen-
The custom galley kitchen features a full size stove with a double oven, a dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer and new quartz countertops. It is stocked with all cooking and utensil items. Dish soap, garbage bags, dish tabs, spices, paper towels and cleaning supplies are here for your convenience. Just bring your groceries or have them delivered from Walmart or Wegmans!
Game Room/ Teen Suite
This space is imagined and designed for Teens and Family Fun with extra sleeping capacity. There are seating areas, a pub table, electronic dartboard, board games, 3 sleeper chairs and a queen size pull out couch. The space has 2 sliding glass doors that overlook the Lake and hot tub. The second full bathroom and washer/drier are located in this level of the home. There is also a patio and 2nd outdoor sitting/dining space which overlooks the Lake and the stairs to the beachfront.
The Bedrooms are as follows:
Bedroom 1-3 are up 4 steps on the raised first floor.
Bedroom #1- Queen Bed.
Bedroom #2- Queen Bed.
Bedroom #3- Queen Bed.
One full bath on this floor.
Upstairs bedrooms- "The Loft" or "Cousin Heaven"
Bedrooms #4/5/6 are OPEN CONCEPT with separate sleeping areas.
Bedroom # 4 -- SIX Twin Beds with a beautiful view of Canandaigua Lake. Each bed has access to a night table with phone charging and a bedside lamp.
Bedroom #5 -- 2 twin beds, a Pirate Ship toddler bed.
Bedroom #6 Features a Full bed, night table, open dresser/bookshelf and lamp. This is the most private of spaces upstairs. It has a lower ceiling.
Private Road and Parking
The Treehouse on Canandaigua Lake is located on a semi-private road on the East side of the Lake. It is maintained throughout the year (we contract out plowing etc). **All wheel drive or 4 wheel drive is highly recommended for the WINTER months. There is parking for an unlimited amount of vehicles as we have added a parking lot by the road.
Tram to the Lake
We have fabulous new Tram that takes you right down to the beachfront! All you do it get in and enjoy the ride from the house to the beach or the beach back to the home. The lake frontage is 125 feet wide and we have a LARGE area on the beachfront with chairs, a fire pit, chaise lounges, boats, a boathouse and a picnic table. There is also a large dock and a power boat hoist.
The treehouse is located on the high banks of Canandaigua Lake. This area is private and gorgeous. Sunsets are a special treat amid the waterfalls and treetops.
***Renters should have at least 1 AWD or 4WD vehicle if booking in Snow Season. We have parking up by the road and right by the cottage. The parking directly infront of the cottage requires a vehicle to navigate 1 hill.

Absolutely beautiful location and beautiful property. The hot tub at sunset was the best hot tub experience ever. It couldn’t have been placed in a better location to view!

The ""Tree House " was a wonderful experience for our family. We had a great trip, with so many things for kids/teens. Very clean too. The deck is very useful and beautiful. We will be back in the future....

Phenomenal stay! Such a beautiful property on the lake. I loved the stairs and the lift to the lake it felt so tucked in, cozy, and private. There are a ton of beds and the hot tub is such a nice place to relax with a view!! I'll be coming back in the future!

I stayed here with a large group, and the experience exceeded every expectation. The house was spacious, comfortable, and surprisingly well‑equipped for a group our size. The host was incredibly responsive and went out of their way to address every question and concern, which made the entire stay feel effortless. And the lakefront — absolutely magical. From sunrise reflections on the water to quiet evenings by the shore, it truly made the trip unforgettable.

We had a wonderful week in the tree house! Check in process was very simple and communication with owner was clear. House really does look like a tree house and is in a beautiful location (I imagine it's simply gorgeous in the Fall!). Kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of beds for our crew of 12. We appreciated the tram down to the beach where there was a nice dock for fishing and star gazing. Kids enjoyed swimming in the lake and we all took advantage of the kayaks and life vests. The hot tub was another hit with our group and had a gorgeous view, perfect for sunsets.This was our first time to the Finger Lakes and the house was in a great location. We visited some breweries in town and happened to be thete for the Arts and Music fest. We also went to Watkins Glen which was an hour away via a nice scenic drive. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house! Thank you for the stay!

This review makes my heart so happy! The Treehouse is so dear to us as it was built but my father and grandfather. It was built into the trees and the land and truly feels like a real Treehouse :) Thank you for staying with us and please come back any time :)

Beautiful location, comfortable cozy home
We had a wonderful time at this house on the lake. Location is gorgeous, with both stairs and tram down to beach & dock with kayaks. Home is cozy with great deck and firepit. Very much enjoyed our return stay!

6 adults 9 kids. It was a siblings and cousins weekend! The house was a great size with all adult rooms on the main floor and kids up on the 2nd. Everything was clean and maintained. We loved it!

Treehouse stay
Great property although spiral stairs were a challenge for our over age 50 group of women utilizing the kid room upstairs for extra sleeping space. The views were amazing and the tram so convenient to catch a sunset!!

What a gem!
This place was fantastic! From the private location, to the giant deck, the beautiful view, a tram and huge flat lakefront…it’s a special place. The deck is great for dogs. We stayed in the fall but would love to come back in the summer and take even more advantage of the amenities. The hosts were super responsive and so nice throughout the whole process!

Retreat on the lake
Such a beautiful property and perfect for our family with friends stopping by. The cottage itself is nice and filled with anything you could need in kitchen , etc and the outdoor space is spectacular. Host very responsive when we had question about tram and no issues with checkin. Tram was helpful though stairs not too bad…..hope to stay again!

Overall we had a nice time with our group, and the location worked well for what we needed. However there were a few issues during our stay that made things less comfortable than expected. There were a large number of flies throughout the house, especially upstairs, along with mice running around the basement ceiling. Unfortunately a couple of the sleeping spaces became difficult to use because of this.We understand that issues can come up with any property, but we did expect the home to be in better condition upon arrival, especially for a large group stay. Communication with the host was polite and we appreciate their responsiveness, but we did want future guests to be aware of our experience

Group was over capacity and had 18 hockey players staying at our home for a local tournament. It's spring in the finger Lakes region, if you leave the doors open, the flies will come in. You have to close screens behind you. We did tend to and catch the mouse. Again, all guest needs to make sure the doors are closed behind you. The Cottage is in the woods and 2.5 lakefront acres. If you leave the sliding glass doors open for hours on end, a critter will come in.
We will always tend to any issues if they arrise but guests need to make sure they help too.

Great Summer Family Vacation
We loved our stay the Treehouse. The private beach is great and the tram was very helpful for the young children and seniors in our group. The outdoor area is so nice for big family dinners and just hanging out enjoying the view. Christine was very quick to respond to any questions and always helpful. We’d love to do it again.

Ladies Golf Get Away
Our golf ladies go on an annual golf trip, and this year we chose to stay at the Treehouse on Canandaigua Lake. The view from the outside deck is spectacular and the kitchen table gave us space enough for us to enjoy a wonderful dinner together. We enjoyed our stay! We would recommend it to others as well.

Gorgeous location
We very much enjoyed our stay. Christine responded to all our questions right away. The outdoor space is phenomenal. Inside is cozy and quaint. All amenities were accurate. The 3 private bedrooms were comfortable. The “cousins heaven” fits many kids who are happy to bunk together.

Nice lake house with a fabulous deck
We were 11, for a family reunion. It was close quarters, but we fit! The greatest feature of the house is the amazing deck. Well shaded but not dank. Everyone enjoyed taking the tram up from the lake, too? Well-equipped house — everything you could need. And great communication with hosts.

We love being outdoors so the deck has to be super comfy!!! We have 5 daughters so when we all come down with husbands and kids, we sleep a bunch. The Tram has been a wonderful addition- super easy to get up and down to the lake yet keeps the woodsey feel and quiet that we cherish.
