Maison de plage contemporaine avec plafonds voûtés et beaucoup de soleil

Nous sommes disponibles pour l'été 2020! La maison n'a pas été endommagée par l'ouragan Sandy! Il s'agit d'une maison de plage de trois chambres dans la grande communauté d'Ocean Bay Park dans la première zone de vacances Fire Island de Long Island. La maison est de style contemporain avec une grande pièce avec beaucoup de lumière et des plafonds voûtés de 25 pieds. Deux grandes chaises en séquoia de Californie attendent que le roi et la reine divertissent ou lisent un bon livre. Attaché à la grande salle est une grande cuisine avec coin repas avec tout nouveau A / C. La chambre principale a sa propre salle de bain avec douche et il y a une autre salle de bain avec baignoire pour les invités. Chaque chambre a de nouveaux ventilateurs de plafond. Grande terrasse et douche extérieure neuves. Il y a un nouvel ensemble barbecue et terrasse. Nouvelle machine à laver, lave-vaisselle et réfrigérateur. Situé sur Cayuga St, centré entre Flynn's Restaurant et le Fire Island Hotel et le Hurricane Bar and Grill. Le ferry est à 10 minutes à pied de la maison. À l'est de la maison se trouve la communauté privée de Point of Woods et Sunken Forest State Park et à l'ouest se trouve Seaview et Ocean Beach, une ville pas comme les autres. Vous pouvez vous promener tranquillement vers n'importe lequel d'entre eux sur la plage ou sur les allées ou sauter dans un bateau-taxi pour aller où vous le souhaitez.


Le terrain de baseball de Point of Woods se trouve directement derrière la maison et n'est utilisé que par le camp d'été pour les enfants. Il n'y a aucune maison derrière celle-ci qui offre plus d'intimité. Le Fire Island Hotel dispose d'une piscine et se trouve à une minute à pied de la maison. La règle non écrite est que vous pouvez utiliser la piscine, mais veuillez acheter des boissons au restaurant. Il y a des vélos, des vélos pour hommes, femmes et enfants. La maison dispose également de chaises de plage, du satellite T. V. avec un grand écran plat sur un support pivotant et d'Internet sans fil.

We docked our boat at Flynn's for the weekend and this home fit the bill perfectly as it was on the same street midpoint from bayside to beachside. House was clean, with an airy open living, kitchen dining area perfect for gathering. Kitchen stocked with essentials, plenty of beach towels, and chairs. Would rent again for sure.

Perfect location for a family beach trip

Fire Island is ideal for a family beach trip and this location was perfect. We could easily walk to all we needed to get to. The property was clean and offered enough space for everyone to fit comfortably. The owner of the property communicated frequently to check in and make sure all was going smoothly. Overall, had a wonderful time!

Summer vacation

This place was fantastic! Very clean and stylish with everything you needed. In a great location, and it was wonderful to be steps away from the water! Mike was also very helpful since the beginning, available at all times whenever we had any questions. We had a great stay! Totally recommend it.

As Expected

The home was convenient to access and laid out in a way that worked well for our group of 6 adults and a few children. There is a small deck space, and no yard space but a good amount of living room space. Being 5 houses from the pantry and down the block from the hotel and beach was perfect for us.

My friends and I spent little time in the house. The location is nice and so is the back deck, but the house had outdated features.

Thanks for the input, We do our best to keep it up. Most people who are at the beach don't spend much time in the houses themselves. Not sure what outdated features they are referring to. We have not had one bad review.

Great location, great house, perfect weekend

Michael was very helpful and communicative during the booking process. Getting into the house was seamless and made for an easy start to the weekend. The house was exactly as advertised and perfect for a weekend (or longer) in Ocean Bay Park. It’s perfectly located between the bay and beach and right near the market/restaurants making life quite easy for all. Thanks Michael!

Perfect location

A wonderful escape from the city

This was the first family vacation for myself, mother and two young nieces who are aged 5 and 7. We planned on going to the Caribbean but things fell through and I could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the change in plans. The home was perfect for our needs, spacious, clean and kid friendly and mere minutes from the beach. Unlike the Hamptons, Fire Island is laid back and the beach is family oriented so no anxiety about having to "Keep up with the Jones's" Relax, refresh and forget about everything other than having a peaceful and fun vacation The owner, Michael, is such a nice person to work with, he was always available to answer questions and offer advice about where to go on the Island. He made it so easy. Thank you!!

Relaxing week on Fire Island

The house was exactly as described. We especially enjoyed the private back deck and outdoor shower. Great location situated between the market and the hotel. It was nice to have access to the wagon, bikes and beach chairs!

Had a great stay in this modern, roomy, OBP House.

Well situated between Flynns & Fire Island Hotel, this modern roomy Ocean Bay Park House was very comfortable. A/c in great room plus another in master br cooled most of the house. Nice deck w dining table, chairs plus lounges. Short 3 min walk to ocean. Michael F, the owner was very easy to reach and quite accomodating. I would recommend this property to a friend / relative, and may rent again next year.

I grew up in West Islip across the bay from Fire Island. We moved there from Brooklyn when I was 8. I am a lifelong Long Island resident and spent most of my working career in Manhattan. I now operate my own business in the office technology arena serving Manhattan to Montauk.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Growing up in West Islip, many people I knew (including myself) went to Fire Island by personal boat. It was right in our back door across the bay. Anytime you wanted a break or wanted to have fun, this was the place to be. I lost my boat in the Noreaster of 1996 and Pat Meade, selling real estate, showed us this house and is was love at first site. I bought the house the same day I saw it

Open and ariy with vaulted ceilings, modern contemporary styling and sheetrocked walls this hoouse was very well built. It is located between Flynn's restaurant, the Market, and the Fire Island Hotel and minutes to the beach or bay.
