Pleasant place to stay

This flat was as advertised and very clean. The process was easy and the communication from EasyFlat was great. I would happily choose a property through them again.

Sister trip to BCN

My sister and I stayed in this flat. The location was great - walking distance to most things and a metro stop nearby for things further out. It was a little noisy with crying babies in the building at night and we (two young women) were not fully at ease walking in this neighborhood at night.

Sant Antoni a noisy place

The property is very clean & well maintained. Host quite easy to communicate with. The problem is that in this old building, sound travels and the neighborhood is active late at night.

Hi Mary, thanks for your feedback. The apartment is located in the limits of the Raval neighbourhood (old part of the city), 100 mts away from Sant Antoni Metro Station, and 5 minutes walk from Poble Sec Metro Station.

Good location, clean

The location was good, however we were not informed that the building was under construction. There was very loud construction starting in the morning and carrying on all day. I assume this is temporary and without this the place would be 5 stars. No fault to the flat, fault to the manager.

We exactly just learned about it on your arrival date and still did not know how it would affect you at that moment. To elaborate: the renovations are done in the upstairs apartment, which has a different owner and it is thus something out of our reach unfortunately. Bad location & Not the cleanest

The neighborhood is not the best especially at night and the building and apt was not the cleanest. We paid a cleaning fee and was also ask to take out the garbage.

We would have liked it very much if you would have contacted us immediately regarding the cleaning service, so we could have taken action on it. The cleaning personnel is human and can unfortunately make mistakes, however, we could have corrected it immediately if communicated at that moment:) . Regarding the location, the apartment is located in the Raval area in the city centre of Barcelona, very close to the Sant Antoni market. Extremely small space and loud dirty neighborhood

The stay is not comfortable for two people at all. The neighborhood and neighbors were extremely loud and we could barely sleep through the night. The alley smelled like pee and felt unsafe. We were barely provided with anything besides the bare minimum (one towel each, one toilet paper, etc).

Hi Ellie, We both know this is a very unfair review. Regarding the location, it is located at Carrer dels Salvador, right at the edge of Ciutat Vella, 150 mts from L2 metro and 5 minutes from L3 metro. Both lines connect you anywhere in the city. It is an apartment for people who wants to discover and explore the city. It is 10 minutes awayfrom Gothic and Born neighbourhoods. As it is in the old part, like in any other European city, it can get a bit noisy at nights and during the weekends. We give recommendations in person while doing the check-in. We provided you with coffee capsules for the first day, plus oil, salt, 3 towels per person (hands, face, body) and 2 rolls of toilet paper. As you arrived a bit earlier than expected the apartment wasn't ready yet, so our cleaning colleague get you the toilet rolls once you where inside. The apartment has a coffee machine, toaster, washing machine (we include the soap), a double bed and a sofa bed. It is 40 square meters. A very good size of apartment and facilities taken in consideration the location. We understand it may not be your kind of apartment or location, but we both know 1 star is not fair at all. The room has almost everything you need for your stay. The bathroom is a bit small, specially the shower. I am a tall-ish guy and I found myself unable to wash my feet except by raising my legs to reach them. The host is nice and gave me a good tour of the apartment. It's got TV, a/c unit, kitchen (w/microwave oven, no oven nor kettle), small fridge, coffee maker (w/pods), electric hob, and a washing machie. The bathroom has a hair dryer. There's an iron and ironing board, and extra bedding for colder days. The place itself is quite cool in Spring. The curtains are blackout, but the room illumination remains slightly on after turning off. I recommend you bring a sleeping mask if this bothers you. The room is in the first floor of a building. There are some steps at the entrance, but then there is a small lift that's useful to carry luggage. The building itself is in the border of El Raval, in a part that although is well-lit and safe, it's not very nice-looking. It is two blocks away from the metro, and Plaça de Catalunya is a 15-min walk away. I found myself walking back to the place often instead of taking the metro. The place is also a 10-12 minute walk from the A buses from the airport, so it's really easy to reach the room once you've arrived.

Très bon accueil. Les personnes qui s’occupent de cette location sont très réactives. Nous avons trouvé l’emplacement idéal à 10 minutes à pied des ramblas , près d’un grand marché et avec beaucoup de commerces autour. le quartier est cosmopolite animé , donc un peu bruyant en début de soirée. L’appartement était très propre et bien équipé.

You can do better and so can they

The apartment itself is pretty good but there are other things to consider. The place is listed on VRBO but local management group does not communicate well. You need to look for emails from 2 different sources that look like spam so it's easy to miss vital information. The check in process is unreliable which is disconcerting after a long trip. They don't use WhatsApp like the rest of the world and they ignore all communication through VRBO. No welcome information in the unit so everything is a guessing game. They skimp on the basics: no coffee, no coffee filters, no sugar, no dish soap, no sponge, only one dishtowel, no bath soap, no shampoo. For $10 they could give you a better experience but instead you spend they first part of your trip looking for basic household items. They provide the crappiest coffee maker I have ever seen. Have fun mopping up the countertop every morning as it gurgles and randomly burps coffee that misses the pot. Stingy and annoying if only because it would be so easy for them to do better. The bathroom is tiny. You can barely turn around in the shower stall or maneuver around in the tiny cubicle of a room. But the water pressure is good and the hot water is plentiful. The neighborhood is marginal and you must walk through a sketchier zone to reach the Barrio Gotic, etc. However, the apartment is located near a very convenient Metro stop so you can ride underneath everything and avoid getting mugged. The price seems good but, at least when I visited in November, it would have been cheaper to stay in a good hotel with a much better location.

Good stay

The apartment is pretty cozy for up to 3 people, it’s small (just like most apartments in Barcelona are), but it’s surprisingly well equipped for all the necessities of an enjoyable stay, and it’s very clean which is was our big plus ! The neighborhood itself is creepy, keep your belongings close to you and your guards a little up and you should be fine. The location though is very good cause it’s 10 min walk from the main square of the city so very easy to access.

Appartement propre - fonctionnel - TRES bien placé. Pas dans le quartier de las Remblas justement qui est surfait. Tout peut se faire à pied. Métro à côté. Top Comme beaucoup d’appartements dans ce coin : isolation phonique élémentaire donc on entend bien la vie de ses voisins le soir et la nuit mais c’est aussi ça le charme de Barcelone. A savoir tout de même Super accueil Départ facile.
