Adequate. Think motel 6 with garage sale furnishings. Allowed dogs which was the deciding factor for us. Disappointed in the overall condition. It served it purpose, close to the beach. Backyard really isn't safe for dogs without supervision. No washer or dryer,we overlooked that. It would have made a difference in our decision to rent. There were insects that looked like termites

Our stay was enjoyable. This is one of the best places we have stayed at. The property was very clean and welcoming. In fact, we spent more time at the property resting as a family and enjoying each others presence than exploring the island. The property was pet friendly. The garden area was a good place to sit and relax with our small dogs.

The Bahama Beach Lodge had everything we needed and wanted, with plenty of space for everyone in our large family to feel comfortable, including our cat! The beds and sofas were comfortable, the spaces were clean, and we liked the large balcony with all the greenery around. With its close proximity to everything, including the public beach access points, we will certainly consider a stay here again if we return to SPI!

First time on the island

This was our first time visiting South Padre Island. We had an amazing time and the host supplied extras for the beach. The property was clean and well taken care of and we felt at home with 5 people and 3 dogs.

I enjoyed my stay here. Although I never received the check in information or house rules, the property was clean and balcony was nice. One of the bathrooms had a slow shower drain and they could use more dish towels in the kitchen for those who like to cook. Overall, I’d come back if I was in SPI again.
