Modern Beachfront Cottage

Fully updated modern beachfront cottage. Kitchen with retro seafoam green fridge and gas range, Keurig coffee maker and cooking accessories. Living room with vaulted ceiling and a "Coddle" couch that converts to a comfy queen bed. Gorgeous bathroom with custom cabinetry, Clé tile, matte black hardware. Front porch with ocean view. Picnic table on the side patio for outdoor meals. Shampoo, Conditioner and Shower Gel in the bathroom. Laundry, dishwasher, linens, parking. Cottage #14, back row, full ocean view!

*Please note that while the cottage is equipped with heat for cooler evenings, there is NO air conditioning.

*All necessary linens, bath towels, and beach towels are provided.

*This location is ideal for 2 adults. The city of Oceanside does not allow any access to the loft.

*Please note the city of Oceanside drudges the beach for approximately 4-6 weeks in September and April. They typically begin the week after Labor Day in September and after the Iron Man marathon in April. There is beach access during this time but there will be equipment and noise on the beach in view from cottage.

*The Strand and access to cottages by car is blocked during the Iron Man marathon in April.

*Oceanside is replacing sewer lines along the strand from 9/8/2026 to 1/2/2027. There may be construction on the route to the cottages or near/in front of them.

Weather was in the 80s and humidity was closer to 90%. The unit doesn’t have air-conditioning so don’t go in the dead of summer. There was a pretty good breeze off the water though that helped greatly.

As noted in our listing amenities, our unit relies on natural sea breezes and fans rather than central air conditioning, which usually keeps the space cool and breezy. While weather spikes like unusual heat or high humidity are unfortunately out of my hands, I always strive to make sure guests have a 5-star experience. This was the perfect 3 night get away with my bff. Great location (48 steps to the sand with my long strides). 10-15 min walk to food and pier. You really don’t have to leave the area if you don’t mind cooking. Kitchen was sufficient with tools and appliances. Entire cottage was very clean and beautifully retro decorated. Communication with the owner was great! We will be back! Great value for the perfect laid back beach vaca

Wonderful, relaxing and absolutely perfect few days in this cute little cottage! The host was very kind, communicative and available if needed. It was clean, just steps from the ocean and had everything we needed. We will be making this our regular getaway spot in Oceanside. Loved everything about it!

Great spot to stay in Oceanside. Close to walk to many amenities. The pink houses are so cute!! Complimentary coffee, can sit on the porch and watch the waves and surfers. Will gladly come back!!

Loved the location! And, it was a cozy place.Negatives:-Cleaning product smell on arrival was strong-Needed more instructions on working the keypad. Without a neighbor we would have been stuck. -Shower soap, condition and shampoo smelled nasty. Couldn’t use. -Would have been nice to have one chair in the house.

Hi Mark, Thank you for your feedback. I wish we had known about these concerns during your stay so we could have addressed them for you at the time. We will definitely look into the scent of the soap, conditioner, and shampoo. At 288 square feet, the space is quite compact, so seating is limited. Currently, we provide a couch, two barstools, two outdoor chairs, and a picnic table, which is the maximum the space can comfortably accommodate. I’m sorry your stay wasn’t a five-star experience. We truly appreciate your comments and will use them to improve for future guests. All the best!

Disappointed on arrival with an unserviced house. Bed unmade, towels on floor, and trash in rental unit all from previous renter. Notified host with no call back. Had to use ring camera on porch. After three calls on ring door bell, we finally had Jordan answer who was cold and short. We were told we could stay for the night free and sleep there. We stated we didn’t want to sleep on someone’s else’s sheets. Jordan cut my wife off and said ok they would refund us. Our main problem was the host never returned calls and the man who answered ring was annoyed with us and short. The following day I spoke to host who admitted their customer service and communication was wrong and they missed the mark. We understand mistakes happen. In this situation communication and empathy go a long way. We thought the host should have answered call and reached out next day. It took our communication for her to admit they missed the mark. That was appreciated. Just sharing to help others.

Always wanted to stay beachfront for a couple of days. Found this gem and rented it. Little pink houses in Oceanside is truly amazing, two rows of smaller cottages with the back row offset to afford all properties an ocean view. Lauren, the host was extremely accommodating. Checked in a few times over our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. A great getaway to unplug and refresh. The property is clean and very accommodating. I would more than recommend this property.
