ヴィラプルネッキオは、ルッカ県のガルファニャーナ渓谷の上に位置する復元された農家で、南側と周囲の山々の素晴らしい景色を眺めることができます。 プルネッキオの小さな集落に位置し、キオザの村まで徒歩わずか15分に位置するこの家は、豪華なトスカーナの環境で平和と静けさを求めている人たちの天国です。 家からのいくつかのウォーキングルートは、古代のラバトラックに沿って中世の橋や村へ、栗林や道標のあるトレイルを通り抜けます。 10X5プライベートプールには小さなお子様用の浅いエリアがあり、3メートルのトランポリン、大型のバーベキュー、ワークトップとシンク、thatきパーゴラと冷蔵庫が備わっています。 ルッカ（1時間）、ピサ（1.5時間）、さらにはフィレンツェ（2時間）の各都市は1日で行けます。車で20分以内。

The villa was great and the view was spectacular. You have to do a bit of mountain to get there but it’s worth it. Colm was a great host.

Incredible view

We had a great stay at Colm's. Once you manage to find the villa and conquer the mountain with your car, one has an incredible view. The pool was nice and fairly clean. The villa could have used some more cleaning. But nonetheless I would stay there again. A highlight were the selfmade chestnut pancakes Colm offered us at his campsite down the hill ("just walked past the tree eith the funny shape")

Beautiful rustic setting.

Unbelievably stunning setting. You will need to be a confident driver to manage the roads up to the house as the roads are steep and winding as you would expect in Tuscany. The smell of Jasmine and the natural peaceful surrounding beauty is amazing. We used the pool everyday and enjoyed a bbq too. We loved the little lizards, flamboyant butterflies and stargazing at night. There is a great cafe about 29 minutes walking up the hill with a lovely atmosphere and a small local shop to get essentials from. Lots of lovely memories, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing hidden gem!

We arrived late ind the evening and therefore wasn't able to see much of the outside, but when we woke up in the morning we were all very excited. The view from the house over the valley was stunning and the patio in the front of the house was the perfect setting for our mornings afternoons and evening. There's nothing better than to start you day with a dip in a pool in such lovely surroundings. Due to the great weather we didn't spend much time inside, but even though we had been forced indoor the house offers a very cosy living room and dining room. The house have been restored in a way which feels very authentic and we didn't feel any urges to go on many trips, since we felt like we have everything we need there. Groceries had to be done in a nearby village which is not in a walking distance, but that's to be expected when you want a view like that. We would definitely recommend the place to others both families and groups of friends.

Disappointing

It was a bit of disappointing, because the foto`s on the internet..looked great, but when we arrived, it was nothing like that. The fotos were 22 jears ago taking, so everything was old or destroyd. There is no outside kitchen only a barbeque, even as the big table outside, it were 2 old tables togheter. There were many trouble things. The accomodation was beautifull but the house is absolutly not worth the price. I`m sorry, colm is a very nice guy but still..

Sehr idylisches Ferienhaus mit Pool um die Batterien wieder aufzuladen und dem hektischen Altag zu entfliehen. Wie schon von mehreren erwähnt braucht man hier schon einige Nerven beim Autofahren. (Serpentinen zum Teil nur eine Fahrspur). Colm unser Hausherr war stets erreichbar und sehr Hilfsbereit. Wir waren mit 5Erwachsenen ,2 Teenagern und eine Kind 10 Jahre für 13 Nächte in der Unterkunft.W-Lan funktionierte nur im Eesensraum direkt neben dem Router ht uns nichts ausgemacht ist aber vielleicht für den ein oder anderen Wichtig.

Ein wundervolles Haus in atemberaubender Umgebung

Wir waren vom Haus und der Umgebung begeistert. Vermieter waren immer erreichbar und ausgesprochen freundlich. Wir waren mit 9 Personen dort und fanden vor Ort alles was man im Alltag benötigt. Für die Straßen braucht es allerdings starke Nerven und eine ruhige Hand.

Schönes Haus

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Prunecchio. Colm war ein sehr netter und Gastgeber und hat immer schnell auf unsere Anfragen reagiert. Die Anfahrt zum Haus war stellenweise beschwerlich - Tipp: die Strecke, die das Navi ausspuckt genau ansehen und ggf. die vielen engen Landstraßen in den Bergen umfahren.

Week end nella natura

La casa di Colm è il posto ideale per immergersi nella natura e nella quiete della Garfagnana. Splendida piscina con vista, ampi spazi esterni e un bel casolare dal sapore tipicamente toscano. Host presente e disponibile x tutte le nostre richieste. Consigliatissimo!

Urlaub mit Freunden, Kindern und Hunden

Wir waren insgesamt 7 Personen- 4 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder und 2 Hunde. Unsere Urlaubswoche haben wir sehr genossen, obwohl wir etwas Pech mit dem Wetter und einige Stromausfälle hatten. Colm ist sehr gastfreundlich, hat uns aus seinem selbst hergestelltem Kastanienmehl leckere Pancakes gemacht und war sofort zur Stelle, als wir Probleme mit dem Strom hatten. Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus mit einem atemberaubendem Blick über das Tal. Die Kinder hatten jede Menge Spaß im Pool und im Trampolin. Die Pizzeria in La Chiozza ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Beleuchtung im Haus, v.a. im Bad und Esszimmer ist für verregnete Tage/ Abende etwas zu dunkel- wir hatten es aber auf jeden Fall mit dem schönen Wamslerherd sehr gemütlich. Vielen Dank Colm!

Uitzicht bij zwembad idyllisch. Heerlijk. Huis zelf niet allemaal even schoon. Vaak stroom uitval. Verder mooi klassieke woning.

Un posto favoloso

Abbiamo organizzato una rimpatriata del liceo con una decina di amici e abbiamo trovato nella casa di Colm il posto ideale per festeggiare !!!! La casa è veramente accogliente con uno spazio esterno che ti offre una vista impagabile. Colm è stato disponibilissimo e gentilissimo in ogni nostra richiesta.

Ruhige Lage in Mitten der Toskana

Schnelle Antworten auf Fragen im Vorfeld. Problemlose Abwicklung bei der An- und Abreise. Sehr ruhige und abgelegene Lage. Wohnung in sauberem Zustand. Der Pool mit dem phänomenalen Ausblick ist ein absolutes Highlight 👍🏼 Für größere Gruppen absolut zu empfehlen

Décevant!

Avons loué la maison pour tout le mois de juillet 2022. Avons eu de la difficulté à trouver l'endroit, peu d'instruction fournies par le propriétaire sur comment s'y rendre. Personne à l'accueil. Clé dans la porte. Maison pas entretenue, poussière et toiles d'araignée un peu partout. Lave-vaisselle défectueux (fuite d'eau). Réfrigérateur vieux et peu performant. Vieille cuisinière défectueuse avec plaque de cuisson cassée, four sans indicateur pour ajuster la température de cuisson. Cuisine mal équipée et vaisselle manquante. Meuble de jardin près de la piscine en mauvais état. La maison n'est pas climatisé. Des ventilateurs seraient nécessaires lors des nuits chaudes. La description des équipements sur le site VRBO ne correspond pas: pas de ménage une fois par semaine; pas de frigidaire extérieur; pas de draps fournis et changés un fois par semaine. Avons réservé plusieurs fois sur VRBO et toujours OK. Dans le présent cas la maison de répond pas au standard de qualité VRBO que nous connaissons ce qui nous amènera à explorer d'autres options pour nos futures voyage. Pour le reste, endroit rural des plus agréable. Isolé donc tranquille. Vue magnifique sur les montagnes.

Perfect place for relaxing

We spent one week with 8 persons in Prunecchio and had a wonderful, relaxing vacation there. The house is very rustic but beautiful. The area around including the huge garden is very quiet and the view of the landscape is amazing. The pool including pergola and fireplace were our absolute highlight. The place is quite remote, so it is recommended to have a car for shopping groceries etc. The communication with our host and the neighbours was very friendly and uncomplicated (we even got to eat from all the surrounding cherry trees). I would definitely come back to Prunecchio and recommend this place to groups who like to have a quiet and relaxing time in the mountains.

Schönes Haus, aber....

Das Haus und das Grundstück inklusive Pool und Ausblick ins Tal waren grandios. Allerdings wurde der Gesamteindruck durch mangelnde Sauberkeit sehr getrübt. Eine gründliche Endreinigung vor unserer Ankunft kann so nicht stattgefunden haben. Es war viel Staub in den Zimmern, die Bettwäsche und Handtücher rochen muffig. Notwendige Reparaturen bei den Betten wurden umgehend umgesetzt. Auch in der Küche war die Einrichtung veraltet, mit ein paar Versuchen hat aber alles funktioniert. Insgesamt sehr schade, da die Hausbeschreibung einen anderen Eindruck bei uns erweckt hat. Colm und Adie waren sehr nett und jederzeit hilfsbereit.

Un posto speciale... con qualche ritocco

Il casale di Prunecchio gode di una posizione panoramica davvero speciale e di uno spazio all'aperto godibilissimo. Gli interni, con particolare riferimento agli arredi, necessiterebbero invece di una "risistemazione" e le dotazioni andrebbero rifornite e rinnovate. Piacevolissima e insieme discreta l'accoglienza dei proprietari Adriana e Clem.

We came across Prunecchio while on a hike in 2001. The villa was in ruins and it took several years to restore, we then moved into the house with our four young children who grew up here. The boys, now adults, still live in the villa during the wintertime. Colm has now turned his attention to creating an eco-camp site in the forests below the villas (well hidden and distant from Prunecchio) - do take time to come and visit us - we are five minutes down the road on the walking route to Castiglione.
The picture shows Colm and Dasha, a volunteer from Russia, upon completion of art-work in the barn nearby.

Prunecchio is a hamlet back in time where the land is still tended with old world tools and instruments. This place has to be seen and felt to be believed. The view and sunny aspect are magnificent but it is only after a while you tune into the various sounds and sights the immediate vicinity has to offer: crickets, wild boar, deer, cuckoos, owls, woodpeckers, spades, axes, scythes etc. Cars cannot come down to the hamlet which makes it stand apart in its old worldliness

Prunecchio is set back in time and has the feel of being isolated and private, whilst at the same time being part of an ancient hamlet and wonderful elderly neighbours who always have time to chat and advise on old techniques of cultivation, building, folklore etc.
You can also walk to both Chiozza and stunning Castilgione di Garfagnana, winner of the Borghi piu belli della Toscana award (most beautiful small town in Tuscany).
