Great walkout basement studio apartment! Check yourself in with keypad lock. Modern, stylish design with a solid wood butcher block counter top. A kitchenette is included with a kitchen sink, coffee pot, and microwave. Lots of restaurants close. Great views of Pikes Peak from the neighborhood and is a 25 minute drive or less to all the best Colorado Springs has to offer: Garden of the gods, the Broadmoor, Downtown Colorado Springs, hiking trails, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Olympic Center, and more!

Guest access
You will have access to the studio room which includes a living/kitchenette area, a bedroom and an ensuite bath. No access is allowed to any other part of home.

Other things to note
We (my wife and I) live upstairs. We are very respectful, quiet, and easy going. Loud talking /noises might be heard in other parts of the house so please keep noise down after 9 pm. We will do the same!

You can come and go as you please through your own private entrance. The keypad is located outside so no key needed.

Our home is nestled in a beautiful upscale neighborhood with stunning views of Pikes Peak, especially at sunset!! A beautiful park with walking trails is located in the neighborhood, only a 2 minute walk from the house. Less than 2 miles from several shopping centers and restaurants. This home is in a perfect location for relaxing and enjoying mountain views out of your window or for exploring the Springs. Just a short drive to downtown, Garden of the gods, the Broadmoor, and great hikes! Decorated for you to enjoy your time indoors as well the great outdoors!

The property did not have central heating. There was only a small space heater available. There were three different groups of people in the house, so there was no hot water in the mornings. There were ducks for heat, but they were blocked with stuffing so that the heat could not enter. The location of the rental unit is behind the house and down a long flight of steps that is uncovered. I asked for a late departure, but would have had to pay over 1/3 of the price of the nightly rental.

Studio basement rental

Was okay for what we needed...a place to sleep and shower. However, furniture was very low to the floor...hard for people to get up out of. We did not use any dishes, but it didn't look the cleanest. Only 1/2 roll of toilet sper and ran out of hand soap. People living upstairs decided to take a bath or shower at about midnight or so one night and it was over our sleeping area so that woke us.

Very steep and uneven entry

Hard to get in and out due to steep and uneven ground. Once inside you're greeted with dirty rugs and stained couch. New kitchen is cute. Bed is barely off the ground and bathroom was dirty.

A Nice Place to Relax

The place was clean and lovely. it would be nice to have a bit more coffee to make. I stayed 3 nights but only had enough to make coffee two mornings. The only other issue was the entry to the place. It was a bit precarious and I was grateful it was not wet. Leaving early in the morning, there was no lighting going up to the street. I would recommend this place.

The rental was perfect for two adults. Other than then the renters at the wrong unit at midnight and trying to unlock our door our stay was seamless. I do recommend improving the path to the unit with more lighting and possibly steps.

Great little place to stay

Our stay in this charming little studio met our basic needs perfectly—we simply required a cozy spot to rest our heads. Conveniently situated, it was easy to locate and close to all the places we needed to go to. The apartment itself was very clean and adorned with tasteful decor. Its compact kitchenette suited us perfectly. The few drawbacks: the steep, shale-covered slope leading to the entrance was very slick and made maneuvering luggage a challenge, especially without adequate lighting for our late night arrival. Furthermore, we encountered difficulty locking up when leaving, as there were no instructions provided to lock the keypad. We attempting to contact the owner via the app message portal and also telephone to no avail, so we eventually resorted to online research to solve the issue. Despite these minor inconveniences, our overall experience was positive, and we would happily return now that we're more familiar with the setup. Thank you so much!

It definitely served our needs as we were only there to sleep. We were visiting family, so the mini kitchen was good for a snack and coffee. The communication was very quick, timely, and accurate. The hill on the side was a challenge when it rained.

Nice place

I enjoyed my stay. The only downside was there was a steep slope to the door & it was covered with snow & ice. I am 75 & was fearful of falling & breaking a bone. I was not told about the slope until they gave me the address & door code. If I had known , l would have stayed somewhere else. Bring your own coffee grounds if you want coffee.

Cons: Not in a "beautiful upscale neighborhood.'' Needs minor repairs, painting, and more detailed cleaning. Photos are deceptive. Positives include quiet, attractive accessories in keeping with a small thoughtfully decorated space, driveway parking, good t.v. and phone reception, great lighting, low but comfortable queen? bed, a small hanging structure in place of a closet, nice water temperature, good air quality inside, pretty park a couple of blocks away has mountain views. Includes shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, ear buds, ground coffee, heater, mini ironing board and iron, two bath and two face towels.

Amazing Getaway!

The location of the property was in a nice neighborhood and had a great view of the mountains. Everything was really close and was between a lot of national landmarks! The modern neutral theme of the place gave a very clean environment feel. I highly recommend this place for couples who would like a weekend away from home.

Great place!

Such a wonderful place to stay! It's clear the owners put a lot of thought into making this rental accommodating. It was very clean, comfortable, with many thoughtful details. There is a microwave in the kitchenette, which I don't think is pictured. Highly recommend staying here!
