About this space
Quiet cottage tucked away on a side street with the best beach access. Very close to surf, restaurants, shopping. Wifi/cable/dvd/full kitchen/washer/dryer/bikes/boards/bbq/kids water toys/ pets OK.
The space
Secluded little cottage (500sq ft)with recent upgrades 200 steps from the ocean on a quiet street, sleeps 4-6 people with a double bed in each bedroom plus a queen size sofabed in the living room. 2br 1ba, large dual head shower, fully equipped kitchen, washer dryer, wifi, cable, flat screen tv, 2 bikes, boogie boards, surf board, more beach gear and lots of other cool stuff. 2 minutes off of East Cliff dr down a practically private alley with next to no traffic. Walk to world class surf spots at Pleasure Point and Opal Cliffs, or just chill in the cozy comfortable environs. Short easy walking distance to good coffee surfshops icecream pizza sushi bbq natural foods taqueria burgers and anything else you may need.
There is no need to get back in your vehicle but it's a short drive to Capitola by the Sea, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Henry Cowell and Big Basin Redwoods Parks and the Mystery Spot, as well as Bargetto's and many other local wineries to tour and taste!
We are a 100% clean house doing a complete cleaning, sanitizing and extra disinfecting procedure between every rental.

Pets negotiable with $25 fee
There is a 14% County Lodging tax in addition to rental price.

Experience the natural beauty of the central coast in a rustic setting with all the modern conveniences. Be in the middle of the action but off the beaten path - it doesn't get any better than this!

Seaside bliss

Sweet little house just steps to the ocean. Host was fast to communicate when needed. It had everything we needed and was a lovely home base for our adventures.

Tucked away little place that is such a good location! Nice that the 2 bedrooms are separated by the living/ eating space. Felt like a home inside not your typical "decorated" VRBO so it was nice and cozy. The shower was big and great to have either a full shower head side or a pull down side for getting sand off little kids! Very quiet too. Would only recommend you inquire about your size vehicle to the host for parking purposes as it is a small alley.

This is a cute little house just a block from a surfing hot spot. It’s tucked back off a gnarly dirt road but it was so quiet it was a good trade off. Everything was as described. We were 3 adults and the only downside were the beds. The double size was doable but ours was a bit saggy in the middle. We really enjoyed our stay and the perfect location.

Lovely little house. Very close to the water and what we love about the area (coffee, Capitola, Beach and Boardwalk isn't far). We enjoyed quiet morning walks and daily trips to the coffee shops down the road. Would absolutely stay again!

Pleasure Point is a quiet residential neighborhood right on the cliffs above one of the best surfing spots on the West Coast. It’s relaxed yet has access to all of your needs within walking distance. Great food, great coffee, and supplies and services a very short distance away.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Tucked in on a quiet back street, our ‘Hideaway’ is a throwback. It’s our family beach bungalow, not a corporate investment of real estate firm. It has a warmth and coziness to it, and the ocean is only a 2 minute walk away down a private lane. You can be in the midst of East Cliff Drive in a moment, or just kick back in the hammock and watch the hummingbirds sip on the Purple Fuschia above you, smelling the giant lavender and rosemary bushes nearby.
