Absolutely perfect! This is our third time to the Mermaid Den and we had a blast! Chela makes the check in process effortless. The views, the golf cart, the beds, the entire place is amazing! Can’t wait to go back!!

The house has ants everywhere and needs some updates. The laundry room door is broken, bedroom window broken, ice and water in fridge don’t work. The view is spectacular, golf cat a plus, even though it is old.

Had such a wonderful time in our two bedroom condo at Hamilton Cove. The view is unbeatable. Don’t miss the sunrise from the balcony. Getting to Avalon and Descanso Beach is an absolute breeze with the golf cart. Was sad to check out and can’t wait to check back in.

We had to leave our belongings inside with the broken( could not close it) . Zip ties on the golf cart. Didn’t want to drive it, After driving it to town once, didn’t want to drive it . Took a taxi the whole time . Alot of ants

Overall nice location. Would have been good to know how many steps to unit as one guest has mobility issues. Lots of pots but few frying pans. A bit of an issue with ants. Golf cart key does not stay locked in ignition. Lock box was open on arrival. Locked it and could not access again so had to leave spare key hanging on hook inside the unit.I would be nice to add a shower in en-suite vs tub only. Beds are super comfy. Need more teaspoons. Decor was nice and well appointed. Wall clocks need batteries. Kitchen fan could be upgraded to dim lights and fan speed remotely or longer cords. A vacuum or election broom or old school broom would be a nice addition. Provide ant traps as we purchased a bunch to control ant invasion. Beach towels were a nice addition.

Let’s start off with saying the view from this place is amazing. We enjoyed seeing the sunrise from our bed and having coffee on the balcony. This unit does need some pest control. We had ants in all rooms and found spiders in our bed. I left with a spider bite from our last nights stay. The place needs some repairs and updates. We arrived to find the laundry door looking as if it’s falling off and its louvre slats on the floor. There was a screen coming off in the master bath. The laminate flooring seems to be falling apart in places and the edge piece stepping into the kitchen is coming off. I think the these items should have been reported to management from the housekeeper or the manager should be doing more frequent inspections on the property to make suggestions to the owner.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Hamilton Cove. The apartment was beautiful, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The views and location made the experience even more special, and the golf cart was a great convenience for exploring Avalon. Our host was responsive and very accommodating. Overall, a fantastic stay. We would happily return.

We loved the villa and the ocean view. The door in the master bath toilet area needs to be cleaned, as well as the base board. Also the wall where the chairs look out to the ocean has lots of foot prints, the wall needs to be cleaned up. Lastly the master bedroom bed pillows are lumpy, they should be replaced. We loved the quiet and the privacy that Hamilton Cove offers.
