We immediately felt at home as we walked in to this peaceful, calming, very clean home. We didn’t want to leave. Diane was a fantastic host and communication was great. She provided a lot of nice little touches such as a first aid kit, a night light, paper and pens along with a nicely detailed information guide with helpful recommendations. The location had a small village feel with a cafe a couple of doors down and we enjoyed short walks to both Lanes Cove and Plum Cove. Hope to make it back! This was our second time staying at this property, but our first time under new ownership. The place is just wonderful! Very cozy and well equipped, and the location could not be more perfect. Mornings and evenings on the deck are so relaxing, and the beach is literally just a few steps away! Mary was very helpful and responded to our only question immediately. This is a one in a million location and we look forward to staying here for many years to come!

My friends and I enjoyed a girl's trip and stayed at this cute Salem house. It's in such a good location to so much in Salem, and we were able to walk to almost everything. The house itself is very cute and the kitchen is well stocked. For your information about rooms/bathrooms:Downstairs: 1 room with twin bed and trundle, attached bathroom Upstairs: 3 bedrooms, 1 hallway bath. There are no attached bathrooms to any bedroom upstairs. Thanks for a great stay!

I highly recommend this beautiful home. Someone else said the pictures do not do it justice and I agree. The home was stocked with everything you need. It’s so comfortable, very clean and I felt right at home. Bill and Lisa are 5 star hosts. I would stay here over and over again.

This cottage is exactly as described, charming in every way, featuring a large living room, four bedrooms, a nice kitchen & eating area, and a beautiful deck overlooking the marsh, with a view of the ocean. It's a short walk to Good Harbor Beach. Lots of attention to detail, beautiful artwork adorning the walls, and pretty quilts everywhere. Everything we needed was provided. It was comfortable and cozy, perfect for our family weekend. It seemed we were in a bird estuary, and we recorded a dozen different birds in just a few minutes. The location is convenient to most everything. We would definitely look forward to staying here again, on our next trip to Rockport and Gloucester.

On the Cove was a great jumping off point for our last minute New England trip. The host was very responsive and check in was simple/easy. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset from the backyard our first evening and the relaxing sound of the waves throughout our stay. There was a small market and cafe steps away from the property, and we enjoyed visiting the towns of Rockport and Gloucester. Would love to say here again!

Easy to park right at the door. Lovely, clean house. But, I think the limited headroom around the loft bed needs to be mentioned. I am short, but a tall person would be uncomfortable I believe.

The property was very modern and very clean. Parking was not an issue eventhough it is located in the heart of the tourist section.
