Oceanfront Retreat w/ Deck & Parking

Beautifully renovated top-floor apartment in the heart of Rockport’s historic downtown, set right on the water. This light-filled retreat features a private deck with ocean views, one dedicated parking space, and direct seasonal private access to Front Beach via a staircase on the property.

The living room opens to a private deck overlooking the harbor. Directly adjacent is a spacious open kitchen featuring a large center island and soaring cathedral ceilings accented by reclaimed wood beams. The primary bedroom offers a king-size bed and a private full bathroom, with an additional full guest bathroom also located on the main level. A large loft provides two additional full-size beds along with a flexible play or work space. Please note that the loft is accessed by ladder and has low ceiling clearance, so it may not be ideal for all guests. Additional comforts include central A/C and heat, heated bathroom floors, and all-new appliances, furniture, and fixtures.

Accommodations for up to 8 available with queen sleeper sofa. Kindly note there is a $50 fee per additional guest beyond 6 people.

Please note: service animals are not considered pets and are accommodated in accordance with applicable law and platform policy.

If you are staying with us in WINTER, our driveway is gravel and un-plowable. There is street parking close by and Rockport provides free parking in municipal lots during snow emergencies.

Please remove your shoes upon entry. No parties allowed. No running inside. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
Please only use spiral staircase as emergency exit. Please don’t rearrange the furniture. Please turn off lights and turn down AC/Heat when leaving.
Quiet hours strictly observed from 10pm to 7am. This is an apartment building, not a standalone house, so sound travels more than many guests expect.

This penthouse was perfect! Mary was the best hostess, with awesome communication and great advice on food and things to do around town. So clean and lovely! We enjoyed the whole place, and especially loved the ocean view, and super comfy king bed in the master suite!

We stayed here as a family of four, 2 adults, 2 teenagers for a few nights. The entire home is magical and beautiful. VERY CLEAN!! Has everything you can need: great kitchenware, soft towels, beach chairs, etc...The view from the moment you walk in is just amazing. Mary's flawless taste in decor is lovely and fresh. She is a great host, kind, easy to communicate with and helpful. The beds were very soft and comfortable. The location is so awesome, able to walk to everything, but very quiet and private to retire at the end of the day. The beach was fantastic, right outside of your door and so gorgeous to sit out on the balcony and watch the beauty of the cove. We were so sad to leave. Wonderful vacation home, highly recommend!!!

Lovely penthouse apartment, views/sounds of the beach were incredibly soothing. We went during off season for a nice quiet time in a charming town. This was a lovely place to retreat to once a day of activities was done, with the option of a nice evening beach stroll if desired. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare some nice meals, and the location was within walking distance of many restaurants (though some were closed due to off season). The host was very accommodating and was able to offer many suggestions for meals out. Overall, a lovely trip to a lovely place!

What you see in the photos is exactly what you get...a very comfortable and clean apartment to settle into and enjoy and relax. The kitchen is well equipped, the livingroom is a great spot to hang out, and the bed is very comfortable. There is so much to do in the area but the apartment was so comfortable that we really didn't want to go out. We stayed in mid-November and although the temperatures were in the mid-30s, we enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the eveing on the deck.Check in was easy and Mary was very quick to respond to a couple of questions.

Fantastic!

This was our second time staying at this property, but our first time under new ownership. The place is just wonderful! Very cozy and well equipped, and the location could not be more perfect. Mornings and evenings on the deck are so relaxing, and the beach is literally just a few steps away! Mary was very helpful and responded to our only question immediately. This is a one in a million location and we look forward to staying here for many years to come!

The location was perfect! it is in town and on the beach, with a small sitting area overlooking the beach. When doors are closed, it is quiet inside.There is a foldout sofa bed, which helped us as the loft was for younger people and has a ladder to get up there. Property manager was very pleasant to deal with and very responsive.There is one parking spot, which was great as there is only street parking in the downtown area, which gets crowded.Very clean and nice property.Lynn

The location was great. It's in the midst of a walking town. The beach was not crowded and we had fun collecting sea glass. The penthouse was very nice, clean and was comfortable. Our host was very helpful answering questions when we had them. We spent lots of time on the balcony beach peeping and catching rays. It is a beautiful place. The second bedroom was as described, very low ceiling, not good for anyone over 5' 4". The kitchen was well equipped and all appliances are top of the line. A great get away spot.

We have been coming to Rockport, MA for over 40 years. This was by far the best experience! It made enjoying the beautiful beach and strolling the lovely town so easy! By staying overnight at the apartment, we didn't have to worry about car parking. We could just wake up and stroll to the beach (only a short walk!). The host was amazing and even had beach chairs to lend us! The apartment was perfectly organized, not to mention BEAUTIFUL! I especially loved the kitchen, exposed wood beams, and balcony view. My daughter loved the loft! Great for kids! When done with the beach, you can always stroll the town looking at the stores' beautiful art work. Restaurants are fabulous too! We will be back!
