  • Outstanding Condo and excellent vacation!

    "This condo was fabulous! It was much bigger than the pictures portray and was decorated nicely. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen was stocked nicely. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys left over from previous guests which made it nice when we had family come over. The resort is so beautiful and amenities were plenty. The pools were great and warm enough to enjoy but cool enough to be refreshing and were never crowded since there are so many of them. Entertainment down at the main pool was awesome and you can hear them from the balcony at night which we enjoyed. Great view of Tuesday night fireworks from the balcony as well. Beautiful views of the water and the island all around. We enjoyed both the sound and the Gulf sides multiple times. It's a little bit of walk if you are lugging your beach gear but go minimal and it's great. Not the fault of the owner at all but I will say a few things about the resort that are helpful to know up front: 1. The clearance in the parking garage is only 6'3" so if you are traveling with any kind of luggage carrier on your vehicle you will not be able to enter the garage. No big deal as parking outside was never a problem but good to know. 2. The food and cocktails are exorbitantly expensive. I enjoyed a night by the pool listening to entertainment with my sister and we each had 2 Bushwackers. The bill was $60.00!!!! That was the end of that. We made our own from then on. 3. There is little to no communication between the gate attendants and the front desk. Policy for guests changed every time we had one come. I have family in town so we had many. It was ALWAYS a pain and the the gate attendants were very rude to deal with. Just an FYI. The rest of the employees and I mean ALL of them were so friendly and helpful. I compared it to being in Disney more than once. They were great. One note for the owner, the Master bed squeaks so badly it made it difficult to sleep many nights for my husband and I. I ended up going to the couch multiple nights. Please don't think I'm being negative, we had a fantastic two week stay and my whole family loved it. The condo was one of the nicest we've ever stayed in and the elevators were always quick and never a problem. We will definitely be looking to come back next summer. (Maybe you could fix that bed though?) Overall rating....10 easy 10!"

  • Great Family Vacation

    "Great views of the ocean & the sound. It is closest to the main pool. We had a great view of the fireworks from our balcony. There were many advantages to staying a a resort versus staying at another condo elsewhere. We enjoyed our stay !"
