  • Beautiful escape

"My just spent a long weekend in this residence and had a wonderful time. It featured a fully appointed kitchen, lovely decoration, fabulous view of the lake and then the Bernard's Landing Resort offers lovely walks, a great restaurant, a beach, exercise area and much more."

  • SML gem

"Two families, a total of 6 of us, spent a week at Serenity. This house is all it's cracked up to be! Beautiful home with magnificent view of the lake. The dock/sundeck are phenomenal. All rooms are well furnished with comfy furniture/beds. Hot tub and gas grill are great. AC is more than adequate, in fact, we had to turn it down it got so cold. Linen service was available and saved us from packing bed linens and towels. The owner, Jay, is very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Overall, a 5 star experience and would do it again!"

  • Stunning both inside and out!

"Our family loves Covered Porches and wouldn't stay anywhere else on the lake! The interior is impeccable and reflects the owners' love of their home. The beach and dock are favorites of ours since spending time with family is the objective for the week. Love this property and Smith Mountain Lake!"

  • Pop's was great!

"My family and I had the best vacation ever last week and we wish we had tried Smith Mountain Lake years ago. The Eastern shore is ok, but with the traffic, crowds, sand and unpredictable weather and water, lake life is so much more laid back. Even when it rained, sitting in the screen porch within the trees overlooking the lake and nature was just as fun as playing on the dock and water. Renting a boat for a couple of days was also a great way to see the area, fish and find more swimming holes, although with 500 miles of shoreline, it is going to take a few years to explore it all. The cabin was simple and felt great. The WiFi keep the kids happy and the kitchen and bedrooms worked out just fine."
