Vacation rentals near Blue Ridge Arts Council and Gallery

Cute cabin with lots of character and amenities - spices, condiments, games, books, and movies. We only stayed a few days but it was very comfortable for our family of four (teenage kids). We hiked at Seven Bends and fished the river by wading below the rapids and using our newly learned fly fishing skills from the Murray Fly Fishing shop in Edinburg. A very nice getaway!

Our stay at Bala’s home was wonderful. The location right on the river is perfect for a relaxing getaway. A very close drive to the National Park and Front Royal. The home is updated nicely and amenities are well stocked, above average kitchen supplies from the typical vacation rental. Do note that there are no tvs in the bedrooms which we appreciated but some may not. Overall it was great.

The house is nice and quiet, with the primary view looking across the River into a cow pasture. All amenities as described, and the nieces and nephews enjoyed the game room. Due to the proximity to the river, it was quite buggy around dusk and dawn. A few things to be aware of if renting and you have a small dog. There is a rather large dog that wandered the neighborhood. Not sure if it was friendly or not, but didn’t want to run into him while taking our 12lb terrier out. Also, there were a lot of ticks in the yard, so check your pets every time they go out. And watch out for the poison ivy. Otherwise, we had a nice time while we were there, and the host was responsive to inquiries. Would recommend!

The house had everything you could need and was very clean. The view is worth the drive.

This is a beautiful cabin with gorgeous natural light. The creek is very peaceful, and the location is definitely private (which is exactly what we wanted). Rich is a wonderful host and was very accommodating for our late arrival. Highly recommend!

This beautiful cabin has everything you need for a wonderful stay. My husband and I stayed here for our 44th anniversary while visiting local wineries. It was a perfect location.

The house is great! We loved our stay. The place is even better than the listing. Know that you’re not particularly close to any restaurants or stores but that wasn’t an issue for us. You’re close to the park entrance. The lot is peaceful and an amazing place to unwind after a long day of hiking.

Will absolutely stay here again! It was exactly how it was shown on the listing and very clean. Also, very close to town and things to do.
