  The description and the pictures were accurate. The unit was clean and everything we needed was provided. As one reviewer noted, it is on the dark side. But since we were there to ski, that wasn't really an issue. The location was really excellent. I think the price for the location was a great deal!

  Just came back from a great stay at Mary's Ski condo and it was fantastic. The location is ideal, just walk across the parking lot (<50 feet) and you're at the slope. My group was made up of 4 adults (1 couple, 2 singles) and the size/layout of the unit was perfect. Mary was very easy to get a hold of during the booking process and she was nice enough to take the time and answer any questions that I had. I would certainly stay at this property again and recommend it to anyone visiting Steamboat. Thanks again!

  We stayed in this condo for a 4 night vacation. It took a while to select the best place to stay. We had seen many other newer, more expensive units but in the end we decided to stay here for a variety of reasons - perfect location, outstanding reviews, the comments on how well the owner had maintained the property and overall value. It was a great decision. There were 4 of us staying here, combination of snowboarders and skiers. We lucked out with perfect weather and great conditions. The condo is small but very clean and comfortable. The furniture and all bedding and kitchen appliances and supplies are updated. The bedrooms and living room are very comfortable as well. Although we only ate breakfast in the condo, everything you would need to cook all meals is available. We even got to all comfortably watch the Bronco's defeat the Patriots! Mary has been very helpful with information. We would definitely recommend this place to other families.

  The condo was very clean, warm and comfortable. The kitchen was a tight space and needed a sauté/fry pan. The location was convenient for ski in/out and break for lunch at the condo. We lived it!

  We stayed here for a week to ski Steamboat. The condo is an excellent starting point, and the slopes are easily accessible. The condo is well equipped with everything you need before and after you ski. Our kids also enjoyed the nearby hot tub. I would not recommend it if you don't ski a lot and sit at "home". The place is a bit dark, even after you turn all the lights on. The bedrooms are spacious and get you very well rested for the next day of skiing.

You are correct that with the condo being an inside unit we don't get a lot of natural light in the living area (and as you pointed out, hopefully guests will get all the sunlight they need on the slopes!). The bedrooms offer more sunlight with large south facing windows. Your review is greatly appreciated and will surely help future guests!

  Our trip was great! It was really nice to walk across the parking lot and put our skis on and go! The location is perfect. The condo was exactly as it was described and we had ample room to lounge and rest after a fun day on the slopes. The owner was very easy to work with when the weather got bad and we thought we might not make it on our expected date... But we did! We would definitely stay here on future trips to Steamboat! Thanks!

  GREAT condo in a GREAT location!! Whenever we visit a new ski destination, it's always so disconcerting trying to choose a condo that will be in close proximity to everything else you'll need to access (slopes, restaurants, rental shop, grocery store). I spend HOURS googling resort maps and fooling with satellite maps. It still always feel like I could be in for a surprise when I get there. Well, no surprises with this condo! You can literally sit on the couch and watch skiers ski right to the parking lot in front of you. Even Mary's video (which is a BIG help in picturing things more accurately) doesn't fully show just how easy it is to access the slopes from this condo. Steamboat did have a good deal of snow in December, which made access ideal, but even if they hadn't, it would still be a VERY short walk. We were in Steamboat for 8 nights and this condo was only available for the first 4, so when we had to move, my teenaged boys were NOT happy. The place we stayed the second 4 nights was only about a five minute walk to the slopes, but they still complained like crazy that they had to leave this place. It was the first time we ever stayed somewhere that had such great access and it made a HUGE difference. We had no idea what we were missing and we are now officially spoiled. Thanks, Mary! We'll probably never again stay anywhere that isn't slopeside (or a parking lot away). But wish me luck finding a nightly rate as reasonable as Mary's, particularly during the week between Christmas and New Year's. We literally paid a third of what other people were asking for 2 bedroom condos during that week, and they were a lot farther from the slopes. The condo itself is pretty awesome too. They have a GREAT housekeeper who obviously works very hard to keep the place in tip-top shape. I don't think this is one of the newer condo complexes in the area, but this unit does not show age at all. The owner obviously addresses wear-n-tear issues immediately. Nothing is "rigged" to be in pseudo-working order, as we have found at other condos we've rented. The condo is up-dated (carpet smelled brand new), well-stocked, and very comfortable for our family of four. The mountain market is about a 7 minute walk away (uphill the whole way back) and the free city bus stop is about a 2 minute walk. Gondola Square is also about a 7 minute walk. Loved, loved, loved this condo. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to others!

  This was our second stay here. Great location and great price. Grocery store and restaurants within walking distance and more importantly you just walk across the parking lot to be on the slopes. Hot tub and private ski lockers are great amenities. Would definitely stay here again.
