The condo is a three story building, with the main floor of the condo located on the second floor and the bedrooms are located on the third floor. Thoughtfully decorated with all new furnishings, linens, appliances etc. Amenities include Wi-Fi, Direct TV, DVD, CD player, AC, ceiling fans and BBQ. The master bedroom has a King bed, private bathroom with shower, walk in closet,couch and views of the Columbia River. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and views of downtown. There is a fully equipped laundry room, and hall bathroom with a shower/bath. . The parking is free parking on the street, in front of the condo.

- Smoking Not Allowed : There is no smoking allowed. No smoking allowed on the balcony. There is a $500 fine for fumigation/cleaning fee, if you are caught smoking in the house! You will have to leave the property with no refund.

We drove to Hood River for my daughters wedding and wanted a condo to rent. VRBO was the web site we found. We rented a two bedroom two bath condo in the heart of downtown Hood River. It was wonderful access to restuarants, shops and even a small theater. The condo was well eqipped and even had a little deck for afternoon drinks. We enjoyed our stay and our contact with Julie who promptly answered all our questions and rented to us at a very reasonable rate. We would rent again thru Julie and the VRBO website.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway.

This rental is in a great location, within walking distance to everything in downtown Hood River, and the perfect place to stay for two couples. When we were at the condo we were usually out on the balcony sipping wine and people watching. There was however an issue when we arrived. The condo had not been cleaned - dirty towels still had to be washed, the beds were not made, the floors were dirty and the trashes had not been emptied. We called Julie and she was able to get a cleaning service there within two hours. We certainly appreciated her responsiveness, especially since she was out of state on her own vacation. Overall we had a great experience with this rental except for the initial cleanliness issue, which is why I have rated our experience as Good instead of Excellent. I would still recommend it to others, and would stay here again.
