    "We stayed for the month of August 2015. The location is outstanding, close to everything with open water access. Anna and Ray were wonderful to us. The house was well stocked with everything we needed including cooking supplies, utensils, grill, cleaning supplies, linens etc. They even let us use the canoe. The porch was a wonderful place to hangout after a long day. Neighborhood is very quiet and walkable with little traffic. If I'm ever in need of a place to stay I will definitely put this place on top of my list. My only regret is I didn't have a boat while on this great canal!"

  • The stay was great!

    "This cottage is within walking distance to everything downtown. We were there for 2nd Saturday Art Walk and found out when we got there that it was also Freda Feast... We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend! Restaurants, vendors, locals, and our neighbors were all so great. Will definitely stay again."

  • A+++ Rental

    "A Texas friend met in BSL because it is a half way meeting point for us. We were not aware we were arriving during the Crusin the Coast event, but we were able to find our way around it. The bungalow was most comfortable and extremely clean. There is an amazing registered oak tree "Rex" on the property. In all its glory it continually drops acorns on the tin roof. That and the dogs across the street were the most noise we had. Lots of good places to eat and shop. The locals are delightful. The beach was clean and serene in the afternoon with convenient parking. BSL can be summed up as an interesting, lazy, quaint beach town. A delightful place to visit!"
