Zero stairs to the popular Los Muertos Beach. Simply get off the elevator and walk down a short ramp. Hear the wave’s crash and watch the crystal blue ocean from Coco Azul located just steps from Los Muertos Beach (green chairs) on the Bay of Banderas in the Zona Romantica on level 9. Coco Azul is close to everything including Blue Chairs/Green Chairs Resorts, Mantamar Beach Club and the Sapphire Ocean Club, yet just far enough away to feel a sense of privacy and relaxation. Just walk a few blocks into the heart of old town, there is something for everyone including many gay friendly shops, bars and restaruants. Newly renovated, the feel is modern beachy with a twist of old Mexico - natural tones, pops of aqua and a relaxed modern vibe create a sense of calm. This end unit is light and airy with many windows and also one of the largest one bedroom units in the building. The stunning view can be enjoyed from the dual air conditioned unit, from the private patio complete with outdoor kitchen or from the pool that sits almost on the beach. You are invited to enjoy the many amenities including a modern fully equipped indoor new kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances and filtered water at the sink, in-unit washer and dryer, large private bedroom with KING size bed, ceiling fans throughout both inside and outside, WIFI and two flat screen televisions, one in bedroom (streaming) and a large 59" flat screen in living with full cable and high speed internet . I try to keep informed as much as I can of projects and noise either in the building orr in the area. PV is growing and there is construction throughout the city.

The perfect place!
The condo was lovely! Excellent layout and very clean. There was everything we needed. Blender for drinks, dishwasher, and cooking equipment. I love the filtered water and outdoor cooking area. We booked a fishing trip and prepared fresh caught fish outside! It is in an area we love. There is a lot of life going on all around. We enjoy the sounds of the clubs and music all day. Everything gets quiet at or before 11. The pool was lovely and not busy. We can’t wait to come stay again.

We love this room and building. Check in and out are super easy. Room is comfy with great balcony and views. Very clean. We love the location of the building. It’s in a super quiet area of the city but you can walk to the center in 10 minutes. Love the cobblestone streets and beautiful older buildings. Have walked home alone at night without any issues. Will absolutely come and stay again.

Thank you Luis and property manager Beatriz who made everything perfect. The location is perfect ! The pool is amazing. The condo is perfect view. I was a little nervous being out of USA but this location is super safe and I recommend these fine dining places. Cafe de artistes , the iguana and O’Funiculi also Beatriz knew of all these inexpensive local places that I ate at. This trip was amazing and the ocean water is super warm Best trip and Vrbo experience!!

We have been coming to PV for 25 years and have stayed in the building previously. It has a great location and the unit is fantastic. Expect noise in the evening from nightlife...this is PV! Check in was seamless and the unit is well appointed.

Coco Azul was a great place to stay to experience Zona Romantica in Puerto Vallarta. It's a short 10 minute walk to the center of the tourist spots but its just far enough removed to be a quiet get away. It was a good size for two people but large enough to have friends for dinner if you'd like. The beach just south was great for body surfing and not too crowded. We were there in February and were able to watch whales from the balcony along with beautiful sunsets. Overall we gave this stay 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the historic section of Puerto Vallarta.

I am a repeat renter of this fabulous unit. The layout is comfortable. The decor reflects a sophisticated eye. And, it has always been well maintained. I enjoy hanging out in the condo perhaps more than being on the beach. This was the first time I’ve been in Puerto Vallarta during October; the water was exquisitely warm.

Very good, BUT...
This condo is very nice inside & out. The location is great, only a 10 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants downtown. It's up a rather steep hill with cobblestone streets, so be aware if you have mobility issues. The Kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom (comfy bed), are all great. The balcony is awesome, with a great view of the ocean, and to-die-for sunsets, however the buzzkill is the noise during the day. There is a large air compressor for the adjacent resort about 20 yards away, that comes on and off every 5 minutes...this is annoying to the point that you don't want to be out there for long during the day. Maybe this is a new installation, as the property manager didn't seem to be aware of it when we brought it to her attention. Luckily, it stops running after about 7p.m., so you can really enjoy the balcony in the evenings. During the day there is some construction noise in other units in the same building, and the music from the beach clubs and resort next door can be somewhat irritating after a while, but there is a noise bylaw, so no music after 10 p.m. The pool is absolutely fantastic! Paradise, with all kinds of beautiful flowers and a wonderful waterfall that you can swim through. The property manager Beatriz is amazing, always getting back to us right away, and being super helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Hopefully the compressor issue will get resolved soon.

Coco Azul is a perfect condo! Russ and Beatriz were amazing hosts and the apartment was truly even nicer than in the photos. We loved the ocean view and being close to all the fun restaurants and sites of Puerto Vallarta. Lovely all around!

Lovely and comfortable condo for 2 adults with beach & ocean views from the terrace. Pictures are all accurate; LOVED that the building back entrance was directly across from Ritmos, so you basically walked right onto the beach. Beatriz the local contact was very attentive and communicative. Can't wait to stay again.

Six Days of Ocean Breezes
All personnel are attentive and take care of situations immediately. This is a very nice condo although way too small for four. Actually, it was small for 2 people ( not enough room to hang clothes) but totally perfect for one. Well maintained, wonderful people and great neighborhood. Could not ask for more. Management was superb. Beatriz was on top of all situations. Sergio and other office personnel were extremely nice and helpful. Thank you.

A Comfortable Home in Paradise
Coco Azul is comfortably laid out and flows easily from space to space. The color palette is soothing particularly after a day in the sun. The long views of Banderas Bay from the terrace are magnificent. We also were treated to views of the beautiful terrace of Almar Hotel next door and the homes stretching up the hillside. We cooked in the well-appointed kitchen. We also greatly appreciated the washer/dryer in the apartment. Best of all, is the convenient access by elevator to the private pool and down a ramp to Los Muertos Beach. We had a wonderful time and will return again.

I have been visiting Puerto Vallarta for many years and in January decided to make a move in purchasing this condo because of the view and ideal location. An extensive remodel, much thought and new decor, created "Coco Azul". There is always an adventure to be found in PV. I hope you enjoy the condo, the beach and the city as much as I do.

What makes this property unique

It is said that this property is the furthest you can get away from it all and still be in the middle of everything. Easy walk into everything but just enough out of the main downtown to feel a bit more away from it all.
