Montlake is a unique mountain lake formed millions of years ago. It is one of the very few natural lakes in Tennessee. Our Montlake retreat is a very spacious home with about 20 acres of wooded grounds. There are trails around the lake, and there is a waterfall directly across the lake from the terrace.
Montlake has four bedrooms, four baths, living room, library, great room/dining room, kitchen, and laundry room. There are two fireplaces (library and great room) and a large deck above the terrace. It is a long, rambling house, so there is plenty of privacy for everyone. The master bath has a jetted tub and separate shower, as well as a large walk-in closet and a bidet. The other three baths have tub-showers. The laundry room has large capacity (front-loading) washer and dryer.
The views at Montlake are breathtaking.

Any activities that might harm the natural flora or fauna are strictly forbidden. SORRY, BUT WE CANNOT PERMIT SWIMMING, BOATING, OR FISHING IN MONTLAKE. All those activities are available nearby. It should be noted that Montlake is an excellent place to hold a wedding or a wedding reception. It is a great place for reunions or for retreats. Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Montlake rents for $195/night .. $1300/week .. $5000/month. Cleaning fee is $100.
One-third (non-refundable)advance payment is required to schedule a stay.
The balance is due two weeks prior to the scheduled tenancy.
Certain contingency deposits are required: A pet deposit of $100/pet is
required if pets accompany guests. A damage deposit of $200 is required. The
deposits will be returned within two weeks if no damage occurs during the tenancy.
Bring telephone cards for long-distance calls. Guests must agree to a hold-
