First trip to Smoky Mountain

We couldn't find the cabin the first night. It's very dark and scary. The house is very clean and homy. The linen and pots are old yet clean. Very close to Galinburg downtown, Pigen Forge and everything. Didn't have time to use the hot tub. It would take a while and several tries to connect to internet. Despite of the steepy road (grandma worried a lot) back to the cabin every night my family had a good time. We really enjoy our first trip to Smoky Mountatin. Definitely will come back. Thank you Cheryl and Angie. Suggestions: arrive in daytime and do not try to make the turn onto Bavarian Way. Go up to the club house and turn around in their big parking lot. If you come back from Pigeon Forge at night, don't listen to your GPS. It will lead you to a dangeous road. We almost fall into the valley. Set Galinburg downtown as destination and come back from there. It's much easier and safer!!

Comfortable base for our weekend stay

We were here for my daughters cheer competition the first weekend in December. The weather could not have been better. Just Chillin was perfect in that we were able to arrive just about an hour before the Christmas parade check into the cabin drop the dog off and still get down in time to see the parade reach light 9 & 10. Just Chillin was very convenient to downtown and the Gatlinburg Convention Center. where the cheer competition was held. We have not seen any bears but have enjoyed the hot tub and took a short walk up the mountain in the evening. The cabin had plenty of room for 1 cheer diva two adult boys and of course the parents. Love having 3 bathrooms. Also Sparkles the dog enjoyed being with us as always. Thank you for sharing your home!

Just Chilling was great place for us to spend some much-needed "down time." Even our chihuhua enjoyed her vacation and our two youngest children had a blast in the hot tub. We anxiously awaited a bear sighting but never saw one. The drive up to the cabin is absolutely gorgeous (and just a little frightening due to the narrow roads). I was a bit disappointed in the view from the cabin... I was expecting it to be as depicted in the picture on this website. However, that picture must have been taken with someone hanging over the porch rail, turning to their left, zoomed in, head tilted, and aiming between tree branches. The kitchen was well stocked... but I would recommend guests to bring at least one frying pan (if you plan to cook a lot, as there is only one and it is scratched up bad). There were plenty of towels and the bedrooms were much nicer than the pictures show here. It was great having a washer and dryer at our disposal. The only people we saw during our stay in the cabin was a few folks who were lost and needed to turn around in the driveway. Other than that, there is NO traffic in front of the cabin. Also, was very thankful to see the flat driveway... many of the cabins in the area have very, very step drives that I would be terrified to even attempt. All-in-all, we had a great time.

Spring Break 2011 in Just Chillin'

We just returned from Gatlingburg and a stay in Just Chillin'. We are a family of six-2 adults and 4 teenage girls! We also had our lab, Izzy. This cabin had plenty of room for all of us! We greatly appreciated the three full bathrooms and nice bedrooms. One daughter decided to sleep on the futon in the media room. She wanted to catch every minute of the NCAA tourney on the big screen! The modern conveniences in the cabin were wonderful, too. I was glad I didn't have to pack towels and linens. Everything was clean and very nice. The location of the cabin was fantastic for us. We loved being the last cabin on a dead end road. We walked Izzy up and down the hill. Plus, the girls, who run cross country, ran the drive and hill daily. One big suggestion...do not try to make the turn onto Bavarian Way if you drive a large vehicle. Go up to the club house and turn around in their big parking lot. Then it's a piece of cake to make the turn up the hill to the cabin. We really, really enjoyed Just Chillin'! Thanks for a very nice place to stay!

We had a wonderful time all week at the Cabin. The longer we stayed, the more we hated to leave. After our Little Black guest came, Thur. evening, that made the trip all worth while. We had everything there we needed. We plan to come back, not sure when. Really didn't wont to leave. Thank you, Shirley & Lee

Great cabin with wonderful veiws. Clean, everything you need to cook, plenty of towels. Will be back to this cabin anytime we come to Gatlinburg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
