Location combines beautiful picturesque mountains, river frontage, redwoods, and private access to the river with great trails for hiking close by. Minutes to downtown Carmel By The Sea, Carmel Beach, Quail Lodge, Earthbound Farms, Chateau Julian, Point Lobos Reserve and Garland Park.

Appointed with contemporary furnishings, designer linens, down comforters/down pillows, CD-iPod player, DVD player, flat panel TV, high speed wireless internet, local/long distance phone features plus selected reading from our library.

Tucked up against the mountains surrounded by lush natural gardens, redwoods, this is a great place to escape, explore, relax and meditate.

  • We rented the main house and cottage from Jef and Steph for a 3 day weekend with friends coming to California for the first time. We had an amazing time; the house is so peaceful and cozy yet ultra modern and zen. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of space to spread out for alone time or get together in the main house for meals and wine. Excellent location, convenient to Carmel Valley and Carmel-by-the-Sea yet quiet and secluded. Your own little private piece of heaven. We will definitely be going back alone or with our next out of town guests.

  • My family just stayed in this home and it was unbelievable!!!! The owners were very accommodating and very kind. I just cannot tell you how wonderful this place is. My daughter was married in Big Sur. You have to rent this and the guest house was perfect for one or two. Has everything you need. The beds and linens are out of this world cozy! Rent this home. You will not regret it and will have memories forever. I for one, will return!!
