Alston Park, Napa Valley's premier 150-acre 'open-space' park, is located directly across the street. This is a great place to hike, walk, enjoy nature and the views across the valley floor. As a family of foodies, self described wine connoisseurs, hikers, cyclists, runners and cooks, this house was the perfect retreat for my husband, myself our 2 daughters (mid - late twenties) and spouse and boyfriend. I have rented many homes over the years in England and Cape Cod, and I can honestly say this was the nicest one yet. Immaculately clean and well appointed with well designed layout. Ample room for us all to be together to cook, dine and socialize, yet offering quiet spaces if anyone wanted to read quietly or work. Garden and deck is lovely. I wish we could have spent more time there. Location could not be better. A beautiful back garden view of vineyards, a park across the road for hiking, close proximity to town for dining out, Whole foods and Trader Joe's close by. Each bedroom and bathroom was comfortable and a good size. Highly recommend Napa Bike Tours for a self guided or guided tour of vineyards and the food and wine pairing at REDD (restaurant). To be honest we didn't have a bad meal anywhere in Napa, but we did our homework and looked up reviews. An amazing choice of restaurants abound. Our favorite wine tasting experiences were at some of the smaller vineyards, but we particularly enjoyed Stags Leap Wine Cellar, Plump Jack and Quixote. We did the self guided bike tour and Napa Bike Tours delivered a lovely fresh picnic lunch to a vineyard of our choice at a time chosen by us. They will also pick up any wine you purchase and have it waiting for you when you return the bike. Both the owner and property manager were very helpful and easy to work with. We will definitely be returning here and will recommend to family and friends. A really relaxing, enjoyable and memorable vacation, mostly because we had a fabulous house to wake up in and return to each evening.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have recently returned from our Ca trip where we hosted 2 reunions. One was for my husband's first cousins and the 2nd was for some of his college friends. This was the 2nd time to be in this Napa house and we are retuning for our next get together. We have rented many VRBO properties over the yrs and this has to be our favorite. From making the reservation to checkout the experience couldn't have been more efficient. This is the only house I felt that additional cleaning didn't need to be done before feeling settled in. Dori is very efficient, but best of all she is warm, caring and couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. She provides any information you need to make your stay a very enjoyable one and if a problem arises, she handles it right away. She has become a real friend to us. Special winery tours we particularly enjoyed were Hall Rutherford and Castello di Amorosa. Restaurants not to be missed are Celedon in downtown Napa (crab cakes are great) and The Culinary Institute of America in St Helena (view from terrace seating in Graystone is special. Balloons coming overhead every morning while you are having morning coffee about 7:15 is quite a sight. Sometimes they are so close you think you can reach out and touch them. The vineyard behind the beautiful backyard setting always has activity that is fun to watch. Makes you feel like you are in the country although you are only minutes away from Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Target and about 20 min away from Safeway. Napa and this house are GREAT!!!!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This house was absolutely perfect for 3 couples. Everyone had their own comfortable bed and bathroom. Being from NJ, you don't often get a chance to see lemon trees, and this house is surrounded by them! Not to mention, you can enjoy a stunning view of a 150 acre vineyard from the backyard. I can't begin to tell you how relaxing it was to enjoy a glass of wine and barbecue outside, while enjoying the view and the unbelievable landscape of the property. The owner and the property manager are extremely friendly and helpful, and even left us some promotional vouchers for complimentary tastings at certain vineyards. The location of the house is strategically located next to downtown Napa, where there lots of bars, restaurants, and tasting rooms to choose from. But my advice would be to go to the adjacent Whole Foods, and enjoy the backyard and the grill. In terms of wineries, Carneros is the closest appellation, but Yountville and St Helena are only about a 20 minute drive. This home was absolutely perfect for a couple of 3, but you could easily do 4 couples. We all had an unforgettable experience and wouldn't think twice about staying here again if we are fortunate enough to make the trip back to wine country.Did you find this review helpful? This is a wonderful property, perfect for a large group (we had 10 women) or several couples. The home is well equipped, spacious and clean. The rental process was professional and the contacts were always courteous, responsive and helpful for any questions. Check in and check out process was easy and no maintenance issues to speak of. The home is in a convenient, quiet location within minutes to downtown and a park across the street for morning walks. The hot air balloons took off each morning in the backyard which was beautiful. I would definitely choose this property again in a heartbeat for a return visit. Rent with confidence that you will not be disappointed.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We had the privilege of staying in this absolutely beautiful home last summer 2012. It was comfortable for the three couples traveling together and convenient to both the Napa Valley and Sonoma. There were many amenities and the house was nicely furnished, with a complete kitchen. Waking up each morning to hot air balloons flying over the adjacent vineyards was a special bonus. The owner was very nice and easy to work with as was his property manager who went out of her way to help us. We highly recommend this home and look forward to staying there again ourselves.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

My wife and I decided to rent a house for a week in Napa with our dog. We were being joined by another couple (also with a dog), and at times by either another friend or another couple. We were looking for 3/4 bedrooms and 3 baths where we could all have some privacy. We settled on this property, and we were very glad that we did. We had rented other properties before, and we are always a little skeptical. Pictures do not always reveal the truth. However, we were delightfully surprised from the moment we arrived. Dori met us and showed us around the house/property. She was not only nice, but extremely thorough. The house was as clean, neat, and organized as our own home. The week that followed was fantastic. Perfectly located near the dog park and trails, and wineries. We were able to tire the dogs out during the day, and schedule one or two spectacular tastings each day. The house is perfectly configured to cook at home, and enjoy an evening in front of the fire, so we took full advantage of that. Each and every one of us had a spectacular week and we are all looking forward to returning. Thanks Thom and Dori!!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This is an amazing house. Just returned today from a wonderful 4 day stay. There were 10 ladies and we could not have asked for anything more perfect. The house is big spacious and beautiful. We already made the decision to be back there next year for our 2nd Annual Girls Napa trip. The house is convenient to everything and the setting is spectacular. Had a blast in the hot tub too.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This house was perfect! It is spacious and fully equipped. The backyard view was beautiful with hot air balloons flying over every morning. There was a rose garden, hot tub and comfortable seating. The view was of vineyards and a mountain. Across the street is a nice park to walk and to view the valley of vineyards 360 degrees. It is in a convenient location. There is a city of Napa ordinance that applies to all vacation rentals- no use of the hot tub and outside deck from 9 p.m. until 7a.m.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Last week a group of friends (sorority sisters in college) rented this lovely home and I can't say enough good things about it. The photos don't due it justice, it was immaculate, and situated close to restaurants, wineries and other entertainment. The owner and property manager were so pleasant to deal with and the home is well maintained and stocked with all the necessities to ensure a smooth and problem free stay. Two restaurants we enjoyed were ZuZu (tapas) and Uva Trattoria, both in Napa. We enjoyed seeing the hot air balloons come over each morning so much that we all took a ride ourselves!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We recently visited Napa Valley for the first time. When searching for the perfect place to stay, we came across this vacation rental and loved the reviews and the pictures, so we decided to rent this home in hopes that it was as good as the pictures and reviews. WOW, this property exceeded our expectations! The pictures do not do it justice. We were greeted by a very friendly woman that was just a wealth of information for the valley and the home. I must say, our family and friends have rented many vacation rentals in the U.S. and never have we been greeted and treated so good! She toured the home with us and made sure we didn't have any questions about the property. They provide a wonderful binder that is full of great information about the home, the Napa Valley and surrounding areas. The home is spacious, well decorated, organized (which I personally appreciated) and EXTREMELY clean!! The backyard is relaxing and beautiful, enjoying wine in the evenings or coffee in the mornings is always a treat and magical in this yard, sitting in the spa and enjoying the views is incredible. The valley was so much fun, we enjoyed many wines and wonderful foods. Our two favorite wineries were Domaine Carneros for sparkling and Caymus Vineryards for red wines. We tried many restaurants in the valley and by far the best was Mustard's Grill which offered great food and wonderful service. We would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone traveling to Napa Valley. Thank you for opening up your home. To end in one word, FANTASTIC!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.
