Come and enjoy our cozy cabin nestled in the Ponderosa pines in Tollgate, 2 miles west of Sisters, for a peaceful relaxing retreat where you can enjoy many year round recreational opportunities.
Many of our guests have said that our house is well stocked, very clean and affordable.
This unique architecturally designed, vacation house is situated on a half acre lot, surrounded by large beautiful Ponderosa pine trees and backs up to a Nature Conservancy. There is a drive through carport and covered entry as you enter the two level home.
The upper level has a dining/living room area with a wood stove, kitchen, vaulted wood ceiling, cathedral windows, sun room, and a large deck. There is a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room.
The lower level has two bedrooms each with a queen-size bed, bathroom, and laundry room. An additional ground level deck is near the entrance. Stacked firewood is on-site.
Located in Tollgate, the pool(summer use), basketball court, tennis court, and volleyball net are located in the common area of the development.
The western style town of Sisters is 2 miles away, which offers many small shops, restaurants and a movie theater. Recreational opportunities abound in this high mountain area of Central Oregon all year round.

As a first time guest, the house was a pleasant surprise. More than we expected. It is clean and well stocked. Obviously a lot of thought and attention to detail went into making our stay a very pleasant one. We'll recommend it to anyone and look forward to a return trip. Everyone in Sisters were most friendly as well as those we met here in the neighborhood. We recommend visting the clockmakers shop on the corner of Hood and Oak and also the artist and scuptures by Lorengo further down on Hood. The sculptures are world class. For an easy hike, do the Mathieu Lakes Trail. It can be done easily in 3 1/2 -4 hours. The view from the south lake area is Panoramic, taking in the 3 Sisters mountains, Mt. Washington, 3 Fingerjack and Mt. Hood Just take the Mackenzie Highway 242 to just past mile post 78. The trailhead is just off the highway 1/4 mile. The shops in town are great. Lots to see! (and spend)
