There is a 13' x 30' heated, south-facing pool just outside 4 separate sliding glass doors, all in a fully screened lanai with lots of room for dining and sunbathing.
Beaches are within easy driving under an hour. We have beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler, toys, mats, etc. available to use. Beautiful Punta Gorda is a historical and quaint community with lots of waterfront.
Everything is New! A vacation villa like you have never had before awaits you. This quiet villa has everything you can think of and then some. It is our perfect getaway for family and friends and will soon be yours, too. The gourmet kitchen has maple cabinetry, upgraded stainless steel appliances, cool & unique lighting, granite counters with bar & 6 comfy stools with a pass-thru window to the covered lanai area & a granite bar & 4 more bar stools. Work desk, separate wine fridge & flat screen TV w/cable. Included are all the extras you need to cook with. Then dine in style at our beautiful Danish teak table that seats 10. Lounge on the awesome designer, comfy sofa while viewing the 40"HDTV with full cable channels & DVR. Actually, all 4 bedrooms have flat screen TVs with cable.
Floor plan is split with master bedroom & bedroom 2/Lounge on one side & bedroom 3 & bedroom 4 on the other. Great for two families or parents & children. Play yard, high chair, floor mats, stroller, toys, 2-3 child wagon, separate child safety fence enclosure for the pool that can be set up in less than 20 minutes, 2 adult bicycles, 3 children's bicycles & more are available. Very child friendly.
Master bedroom opens to the lanai/pool with a beautiful view from the King, luxurious bedding, that even a Princess would envy! Master bedroom en suite bath has a double sink & a specially designed walk-in shower. Flat screen TV with remote & cable.
Bedroom 3 has equally luxurious queen bedding with a fabulous water view. It has a separate sink, closet & desk to work at, if you must. Flat screen TV with remote & cable.
Bedroom 3 and bedroom 4 share a full bath located between the two bedrooms and has whirlpool tub & separate shower.
Bedroom 4 has two twin beds that easily convert to a heavenly comfortable king. It also has a separate sink and closet. Flat screen TV with remote & cable.
Bedroom 2/Lounge has a queen Murphy bed with the top-of-the-line pillow top mattress, en suite 3/4 bath & closet. There are 2 lounging chairs & work desk. Lots of light with 4 big windows to the front of the villa. Flat screen TV with remote & cable.

Ceiling fans in every room with 3 in the sitting/dining area (9 total,) wireless internet, heated pool, A/C, outdoor hot/cold shower, stereo, gas BBQ grill, lanai table for 6, sun beds, linens, washer, dryer, pool toys, games, CD/DVD players, phone, 80' seawall, dock.
A few years ago Money Magazine ranked Punta Gorda "Second" of the top 20 "best places to live". It is a charming riverfront community. We have our own small riverfront beach area with wonderful sunsets.
Our local Fisherman's Village is just a 5 minute drive from the villa. (You can look it up at fishville.) It has many charming shops and several restaurants, including Harpoon Harry's where you can enjoy a meal or just a drink and overlook Charlotte Harbor and watch the sunset. It is a beautiful view where you can watch all the boats in the harbor, the dolphins playing or the pelicans swooping down over the water.
Several wonderful restaurants are in downtown historic Punta Gorda, along with cobblestone streets and gas lamp streetlights. You will also find street art and about 20 murals around town and residential brick-lined streets.
Warm, sandy beaches are within 35-60 minutes drive.
Half a dozen golf courses are just a few minutes drive with many more to choose from a bit further away.
Fish off the new 10' x 30'dock in the back of the house or while lounging in one of our new, comfy and colorful adironack chairs. Local charters are available for fishing excursions, sunset cruises or pleasure trips. Boat rental is locally available and less expensive if you arrange it through us in advance. You can park it at our dock behind the house.
Shopping is fantastic. Choices go from unique and quaint at Fisherman's Village or downtown Punta Gorda to mega Outlet malls about 45 minutes away.
Historic Naples is about a 60 minute drive, Sanabel Island about 45 minutes, Tampa 90 minutes, DisneyWorld/Epcot Center, Orlando and Miami all 2 1/2 hours.

- Lanai : Large covered lanai with a table for six. There is also a granite bar that opens to the kitchen, with four bar stools and a separate sink. There is also a sofa that will seat three or is a great spot to stretch out for an afternoon siesta!

Perfect - not only was the weather great - but the house and its location are perfect. While the house is on the canal and gives you privacy - you're 5 minutes from a host of entertainment, food and sight-seeing fun! The pictures are accurate and the house is probably the cleanest we've encountered in our 15 years vacationing in Florida. The pool area is very inviting - the kitchen has everything you need - plus there are other eateries near-by, including the Fisherman's Village. If you are going to the Punta Gorda area, this place would be a great place to stay.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

I love your new addition of the large boat dock, dock chairs and cool metal palm tree sculpture by the pool - what a paradise! Very relaxing time - thank you! I love your home in the Isles. Everything is so beautiful and fun. We had some great times.The food we cooked was better than any restaurant and I loved our night of Karaoke with everyone singing together at the house. Thanks for the great vacation!

This was a great trip. We love the addition of the dock chairs. Sitting out there watching the fish just was an added treat. The kids turned into fish again this year. It takes seven full pool days before the kids wake up and want to do something else besides swim. It snowed all week in Colorado while we were here enjoying the sun so we had perfect timing. Thanks for the memories.

Thank you so much for sharing your Florida home. We loved it. The 3 couples here are practicing for retirement and we think we have it figured out!! Punta Gorda is perfect for us and your home is ideal. We visited Lakeland and watched the Tigers, went to Tin City in Naples, saw the beach at Englewood and the Islands of Sanibel and Captiva. Each day we were happy to return to your home. Pool has been used, kitchen was enjoyed for most meals, lanai is really getting a workout. And the chairs on the dock are wonderful - although the fish are still alluding us! Thank you again!

We had a wonderrful time in Punta Gorda and thoroughly enjoyed living in your home. Your attention to detail is amazing; you simply thought of everything to make your guests comfortable and welcome here. We explored western Florida while we were here but liked your town best. You need to know we played rental agent for you, hositng several "open houses" for friends from Michigan. How fun it is for three or four cooks to operate in your kitchen and never run into each other! In short, our vacation has been a memorable one. We hope to come back again.

Absolutely love your house. Very comfortable and extremely relaxing. A perfect way to end the summer . We really enjoyed the pool and enjoyed the sun as much as possible - looking for that Florida tan before returning to Kansas.

Those two weeks we stayed in this "DREAM HOME" were the best vacation we ever had. The weather was perfect, the pool just wonderful and everything else great. We love to come back sometime soon.
