Sit on one of two decks under huge maple, hemlock, and aspen trees and gaze out at Lake Ontario. Swim, boat and fish from hundreds of feet of secluded beachfront. Or hike in the "back yard"; hundreds of acres of woods and orchards wild state lands featuring nesting bald eagles.
Launch or rent a boat at Sodus Bay recreation area (2 mi) or drive to Rochester or the beautiful Finger Lakes (@30 mi).Fishermen will delight in Salmon, Steelhead, Rainbow Trout, Brown, Trophy Lake. Lake Ontario and Sodus Bay are known for prize winning Bass, Walleye and Perch. Birders will love the Bald Eagles, Blue Herons, swans and hummingbirds.
The cottage has two bedrooms and a sleeping couch, full bath with shower,a large carpeted living room with views of the lake.Kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster,etc. Linens and laundry available @ $50/week. Gas grill on rear deck, plenty of parking.

Rented this place 2 summers ago for our family including 2 babies. This was the dirtest place!!! The dirt on the floor,behind the couch the couch was flithy. The dust made us sick and had ruin our childrens ds games. The owner and "Nan" should be asamed of themselves!!!!

Great view of Lake Ontario and woods are special. You can be inside or out.nice deck and if you have trouble walking you can park in grass close to cotage on right of way. Tree lover-View in front of of house is fantastic. At cottage Kids can fish off shore or swim, neighbor is friendly. Great place for a family reunion and kids to play outdoors. Traffic in a non issue. Close enough to drive to town (sodus point) for a great meal at several excellent places and public beach in town for little kids to play , lifegurards are on duty public lake beach, plus there is life gurad bay swimming, and there is public pier that you can walk out or fish on. (Fishing charters available in town too.) Golf course near by. Don't ignore the food shack at beach, beach house and restrooms well maintained at the public beach. At the cottage their Room for tenting outside for teenagers, or extra guests. The photos at the cottage were accurate. The owners and Jon and Nancy are great to deal with. This is summer cottage that is what we really enjoyed.
Recommended for:Pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This camp was in a great location, quiet dirt road, nice view, beach area was decent. The actual camp itself was disgusting. The bathroom stunk of sewer or something, cobwebs everywhere, floors not mopped, dead bugs on the mattress of the foldout couch, found a 4" slug on the bathroom curtain, absolutely no cabinet space for your food etc, grill didn't work (we had to buy a new), Overall not a clean place or worth the money.
